Always a pleasure to record with old friends. @hankalrichmusic is one of those old school guys I’ve learned a whole lot from in my years, and now I get to make a record with him. The only problem with @cedar.creek.studio is I have to resist trying a gajillion mics and pieces of outboard gear. #recordingstudio by @audiosauruss

On today’s episode of Trying to Make Coffee Before Having Coffee: a special studio edition! Russ forgets to grind the coffee first. But he fixed it instead of spilling all over @orbstudiosatx #tryingtomakecoffeebeforehavingcoffee by @audiosauruss

Beautiful fun recording session, laying down theremin on @melissaengleman 's Christmas album, with @audiosauruss on the board...aaaand it was Melissa's bday! The song was a cover of a slightly psychedelic Christmas song, I never heard of!!! "It's Now Christmas Day" by Tommy Roe~ taken in Orb Recording Studios by @audiosauruss

Most couples do a first dance at their wedding, but we also decided to do a first song, covering a tune that we love. Thanks to @theutopiaquartet for letting us join them and to @jonnywattmedia for filming! by @audiosauruss

Today on Man Marketing: PROTEIN written in giant letters because vanilla pudding is too gay by itself. So big I didn’t even notice that it says “Queen”next to it, slightly hidden in gold over brown. Include tough looking guy’s face for good measure. Yas Queen. #manmarketing by @audiosauruss

This last weekend was a blur but my heart is full of so much gratitude for all the people who made it so special. Weddings are kind of fun, and I’m a little sad that I’m only planning on having one, but I’m also looking forward to moving past the glamorous part and back to a lifetime of trivial everyday moments with my favorite person. Not bad snare drum phase coherence for eyeballing a spaced pair of overheads in one try. by @audiosauruss

On today’s episode of Trying to Make Coffee Before Having Coffee: Russ goes full butterfingers and drops the grinder full of grounds. Fortunately, it was almost fully salvageable. #tryingtomakecoffeebeforehavingcoffee by @audiosauruss
