“The artists of New Orleans are one of our city’s greatest treasures,” said Walt Leger III, president and CEO of New Orleans & Company.

“Their work reflects who we are, where we’ve been and where we’re going. Every painting, sculpture, mural and performance adds another layer to the story of New Orleans. We’re proud to launch Living Artists Festival Month because we believe these artists deserve to be seen, supported and celebrated. By making it easier for people to discover their work, we’re helping ensure that the creativity that defines New Orleans continues to thrive for generations to come.”

It’s been a kind of crazy last 2 weeks with a trip to Arkansas to visit in-laws and ride a bike, but I’ve managed to produce quite a bit…pictured are a new turntable plinth that I think is pretty funky, a new model of BJ’s that is off to New Jersey, and a new painting of M. Chomps Elysees that will be living in Cali soon. Onward! taken in Lower Garden District by @audiowood

The view from @jazzfest at the moment where we’re sheltering in place for a bit waiting for storm to pass. According to Fest weather report, the show will go on at about noon. Feeling sorry for all the 11am musicians, but hopefully the rest of the day will be lovely. 🎉⚜️🍾 by @audiowood
