🗣️ Two themes of this past month in mental health were “Good days” and “Keeping Community.” Coach J. chats with another mental health professional, and veteran clinician @audreyduross - as two friends offering viewers clarity, compassion and the benefit of wellness in mental health.

Two takeaways: Don’t be intimidated by the various types of mental health provider/support, but DO ask questions to clarify your needs. Most will guide you in the right direction if you need a specialized provider or referral. The 🔑 is to make the investment in your mental health and well-being. It is not just for those who are struggling, but for those who want to maintain a healthy, self-aware and best version of self.

February break included lots of skiing this year, as usual. We visited our future home resort to use up those ikon days and do all the ikonic 😂 things including eating waffles at the top of the tram, getting nachos and beers at the mangy moose, skiing Corbetts, hiking the head wall, and getting some pow all with friends and family in tow. We rounded out the week with a jujitsu tournament for Owen and Ruby getting her red stripe! Proud of these kiddos! by @audreyduross

Better late than never. Team Pondiken ventured to Park City last weekend for four days of fun in the snow! We have A LOT of it, so we were grateful to spend some time enjoying it with loved ones (instead of just snow blowing it out of the driveway constantly). We balanced the adult skiing and kid skiing quite well! Fun to see this group evolve. Thanks for making the trip. Love you guys!! by @audreyduross

Thank you Bunchgrass Yurt and Logan Canyon for amazing weather and terrain and a cozy well stocked place to sleep for a few nights. Thank you, Wilcox and Gale families for joining us. Happy New Year loves! Seven years ago Team DuRoss started this tradition of doing our own torchlight parade in the “backyard”. Most of us were walking up and sledding down with small kids (5 year olds!) The hang out session at the top was short as the small kids got cold fast. Now, we have graduated over the years into most of the kids touring up and skiing down. We hang out longer, blow fire, and the teens huck themselves off jumps. 😂 We will miss this tradition in this special place. Maybe we’ll come back to still do it, maybe we’ll take it with us. 2023 will be a year of many maybes for us. We are cautiously optimistic about what is to come. 2023, bring it! by @audreyduross

Christmas and birthdays in Mexico! Punta de Mita to be exact. We ate about a piña day, spent many hours soaking in the sun which we haven’t had a lot of in Utah, and playing in the water. The company was fun and adventurous! Nana and Papa continue to set the bar high for what they can and will do. We are so grateful for any time with them let alone times like these full of unknowns and with fingers crossed! Merry belated Christmas to all. ❤️ by @audreyduross

Happy Holidays part one in Steamboat with our fun family crew! These guys really know how to pack it in. No little people were holding us back! Early morning hikes, late afternoon tour, and the resort in between! It brought Team DuRoss great joy to watch Axel tear it up on the slopes. He is a natural! And Xela was such a pleasure to to cuddle and play with. Reesa indulged our version of matching Christmas PJs and showed us around the mountain. Mindy and Alex treated Ruby and Owen to a traditional DQ birthday cake. Good times all around! Love you guys. Thanks for being the hostesses with the mostest! ❤️ by @audreyduross

Happy 3rd birthday to our favorite pup! Hazel!! She got her very own birthday card today, met famous people this year and went on several backpacking trips. She got her official therapy dog certification this year also. Girl, you keep getting sweeter and we love every single day with you. ❤️ by @audreyduross

I am a little late on this post, but late than never! Labor Day weekend we had the honor and pleasure of backpacking with THREE generations again. This time we hit the Winds in Wyoming. We covered about 25 miles and enjoyed painting and whittling in addition to the beautiful views and quality time with family. Everyone was a rockstar! We will take these opportunities every chance we get and savor them like the delicious gift they are. ❤️🔥 by @audreyduross
