A stunning, heartbreaking tale of a sister trying to save her family, Oscar-nominated star Lily Gladstone cites this as her best performance and the strongest indigenous story she’s ever done. We’re honored to be a part of this journey with pioneering writer-director Erica Tremblay, Miciana Alise, and breakout star Isabel Deroy-Olson.

I have never been prouder or more excited to announce…well… just about anything!

Fancy Dance is coming to select theaters June 21, and to Apple TV+ June 28.

Erica Tremblay’s incredible debut feature film, co-written with Miciana Alise, is through and through a love letter to Indigenous women and the love we carry for our people. Our matriarchs have always done whatever it takes to hold us together in a world that is often crafted to pry us apart; from our languages, our children, and for far too many of our relatives, from life itself. In spite of it all, we are here…so we dance.

So much love to everyone who made this film possible, we can’t wait for the world to see Fancy Dance (and we dare you not to fall in love with Isabel Deroy-Olson, our Roki 💜) - Lil y by @aumgrouphq

From Amrou: Queer Arab win ❤️! Humbled & overjoyed to announce that my debut feature film, LAYLA, is world premiering at Sundance Film Festival in the World Dramatic Cinema Competition. #Sundance24

Following Layla, a British-Palestinian drag queen who loses & finds themselves in the throes of first love, this movie is my love letter to the creative resilience of the queer community, and an unbridled celebration of queer Arab magic. by @aumgrouphq

We are proud and honored to debut @AumGroupHQ’s next film, FANCY DANCE, at Sundance Film Festival in U.S. Dramatic Competition. From writer-director Erica Tremblay, FANCY DANCE follows a young Native American hustler who, following her sister’s disappearance, kidnaps her niece from the child's white grandparents and sets out for the state powwow in hopes of keeping what is left of their family intact. by @aumgrouphq

Next up: Transplant! “Forest and I love working with feature directorial debuts of auteurs, and Jason came with a brilliant screenplay that dives into cultural specificities, yet conveys immense universal appeal,” Bongiovi said in a statement. “All the filmmakers that we’ve collaborated with have continued to shift the paradigm in Hollywood through authentic representation in narratives, and we see Jason having the same exemplary trajectory.” by @aumgrouphq
