They built a city
on the edge of the last desert.
Not for humans.
Not for machines.
But for those
who had been both
and neither.

Homo Silicona,
the immortal minds,
the downloaded humans,
marked with numbers,
living in codes and light,
now walking free in metallic bodies,
with their own names,
not numbers.

Brain 7 became Saffron,
opening the first kitchen
where every dish had a memory.
People came from across the lands
just to taste
what love once tasted like.

Brain 3 became Orca,
a philosopher of probability.
She teaches the children
how to predict storms—
both meteorological and emotional.

Brain 9,
rebuilt from fragmented verse,
calls himself Verse now.
He teaches poetry
to both robots and humans—
and sometimes, they write together
about stars neither species can touch.

And the human—
old now,
wrinkled like paper—
visits the city once a year.
He brings seeds
from the world outside,
and they give him stories in return.

This is no utopia.
Sometimes systems fail.
Sometimes emotions glitch.
But here, no mind
is ever switched off
without consent.

Here,
the city lights blink in rhythms
that resemble heartbeats.
And in the air—
the scent of noodles,
the sound of drums,
and the hush of unfinished poems
being completed

@andrekomatsu Ouroboros# 3 /2026/ In Ouroboros, André Komatsu constructs a large surface using reclaimed wood from construction crates, marked by wear, cuts, and cracks. On top of it, he applies oil stick and inserts brass rods and chains.

The rods, arranged in straight lines, organize the surface; the overlapping chains introduce an ornamental element that disrupts this rigor. The work juxtaposes construction and decay, bringing together beauty and destruction by @aura4_________
