Coming up on one year in New York. Some days it feels like it’s been five years and others it feels like five minutes. I don’t know how long I’ll be here but for now I’m grateful to celebrate another birthday surrounded by so much music and art and pizza. Shoutout to everyone below who ran around queens with me for the weekend💫

Met @sisimosescomedy at an open mic when I first moved to Alabama. I didn’t know many musicians in the area and our jam sessions kept me writing and playing. This was one of the songs that came out of those hangs.

This is the first song I put out as Austan Found. I wrote it when I had 19 dollars in my pocket. Recorded at @dreamsongmusic with the help of @sweetpotae and @agent.wx. Instead of working today, the city is shut down due to a massive blizzard so it feels fitting I have some time to slow down. taken in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn by @austanfound

The first of a series of songs performed live at Dreamsong Music Lab in Brooklyn. This was shot by @agent.wx who I kept seeing at Pete’s Candy Store open mic Sunday nights. Shoutout to @sweetpotae for being an incredible engineer, musician and overall supportive creative force. Much love to all of the artists I’ve connected with over the last three months. taken in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn by @austanfound

Happy Birthday to @bakaryburner. He connected the entire bay area with his #bakarybeatchallenge at a time when we could really use the unity. I teamed up with one of my favorite friends I made in the bay @drockdiamondz to pay homage in our own way.

This video was made possible by many other talented creatives:
