Some people are born into war. I was born into the lie that started one.
A year locked away. A family built on corruption. A brother who let me take the fall.
I came back to Stormsend for one reason.
Destruction.
Xaden Devlin wants me dead. He has every reason, every opportunity and zero hesitation.
So why am I still breathing?
That question has one answer and it terrifies me more than his hands around my throat ever could.
Because somewhere between the threats, the darkness and the secrets neither of us can outrun…
He chose me.
And now we are standing on opposite sides of a war that will destroy us both, carrying a secret that changes everything, surrounded by enemies wearing the faces of people we once trusted.
One of us won't survive this.
I'm starting to think it might be me.
“Half of what you hear… All of what you see… Watch carefully, Tink.”

LISTEN when I say… YOU NEED to READ this book from my girl @lilagreyromance !!

🕯️ REVELATION DAY HAS COME 🕯️

And the Saints Were Silent by Lila Grey

A gospel carved in blood. A story whispered between bruises and prayers.

Magdalena Holloway has spent years trying to stay invisible—until the man who once hunted her finds her again. When her cries for help are ignored by the justice system, she runs… straight into the arms of Cain Devlin.

He’s dangerous. Brutal. A sinner in every way a man can be.

But when he hides her above his bar, she starts to learn that sometimes monsters are the only ones who know how to keep other monsters away.

It’s a story about rage. About survival. About reclaiming your voice when the world tries to take it.
I wrote this one from the kind of pain most people don’t talk about out loud.

From stalking that the system didn’t take seriously. From the quiet fear of existing as a woman in a world that keeps excusing men who cross lines. From trauma turned into art—and fury turned into faith.

And the Saints Were Silent is my love letter to every woman who’s ever been told to stay quiet.

It’s proof that silence doesn’t mean surrender.
If you like your romance dark, your redemption bloody, and your heroine divine.
