Idk, I think Rion’s onto something 🤷‍♀️
Characters are Nightingale (Gale) and Orion (Rion) from my upcoming dark mermaid fantasy romance duet, Tides of Divania 🌊🖤 Gale is a Mer (no mermaid/man term in my world 🙂‍↔️) and Rion is a Siren.
Anyone else kinda want Rion to bite them? 👀

Book 1 title, cover, tropes, and more to be announced soon!!

Would you read a dark mermaid fantasy romance with NO PIRATES, where he does the knee thing from POTC3 in book 2? But, before that, he’s only the black and white Bastard Prince—and she’s the Mer who makes him see shades of grey?
Tides of Divania, my upcoming dark romantasy duet, is coming in 2027 ❤️‍🔥 Announcements and reveals for book 1 coming soon 👀

Would you read my complete dark fantasy romance series if…

You like a shadow-wielding badass FMC, feminine rage, divine magic with prophesied connection to the very fabric of their world, and war that overthrows a tyrant?

If the FMC doesn’t shy from her power, or her fated mates, even when both of them are unknown to her at the beginning? Rather, she takes hold of her destinies with both fucking hands—and only the tyrant might be able to tear any of them from her.

If the MMC was a spy in her home, and, despite starting out believing he doesn’t deserve a single piece of her OR the crown she brings, he decides that he will earn them both? That his self-hatred is not nearly as great as his love for her, and the greatest respect he can show for HER love is by believing he’s almost as astounding as she sees him.

If it was insta-love between them, but impossible to be had, so instead of forcing her to see him when she thought she had to choose, he stepped back so she could experience profound love, even if it wasn’t with him? Until it was. As it was always fated to be—even if it had taken forever. He would have waited.

If the found family is completely made up of ride-or-d!es, some of whom also have POVs, so you get to see the story from perspectives outside of the main MCs, AND you also get to read their love stories?

And, as I said, the series is complete so you can start it today, and finish it without waiting for a single piece of this epic dark romantasy story?
Out in paperback hardcover, and on KU ❤️‍🔥

Don’t fight me on it!! Not because I don’t make the rules, because I obviously do, but because—and I cannot stress this enough—I’m sensitive.
What fantastical creature are you in ✨the Layneverse✨?

Meet all of them in THE CANVIANT TRILOGY, a complete dark romantasy series with prophesied power, fated mates, found family, and feminine rage. The Mer and Sirens, however, will be the main characters in my upcoming dark seaside fantasy romance duology, TIDES OF DIVANIA. Book 1 title, cover, and trope reveals coming soon ❤️‍🔥

“What’s your real name?” I murmured. “Alec,” he said quietly, allowing his voice to deepen.
Meet the sunshine (character) of my life: Alec Rishad, Prince of Syrene!! Hilarious. Kind. Gentle. Cat dad.
Get to know him in Tides of Divania, my upcoming dark mermaid fantasy romance duet, both books coming 2027 🖤 Book 1 title, cover, tropes, and more to be revealed 🤭

Thank you to @makshin_ for bringing him to life ❤️‍🔥

Mr. and Mrs. Through so many stages of Them™️ These first two are from two of the most popular ORAS highlights, and I’m still obsessed even a year after writing them 😭
Swipe for a glimpse into more big moments between Adan and Thea ❤️‍🔥

Remember this one from book 2? Remember in book 3 when HE remembers it while he watches her cvt people down, and thinks “she has never been mine to wield. But Thea is absolutely a fvcking WEAPON.” 🧎‍♀️🧎‍♀️🧎‍♀️

MY HEART. IM STILL NOT RECOVERED. Shout out to that period in the middle for doing some heavy lifting for the scene tone without even reading the full scene 🫡

THE JUMPSCARE TO GO FROM THIS->

TO THIS??? Your honor, I love Them™️ 😭❤️‍🔥

Full series with all these scenes, and so many more, is out now and on KU 🖤

Happy Fvck AI Friday to everyone with brain cells 💞 Kept this week’s episode short and sweet, two things I’m not 💖

If the algorithm doesn’t suppress this, and it makes its way outside of my 12 usual suspects: hi, I’m Jess 🤠 I write dark romantasy, hire human artists, and listen to the same music I did when I was 14. Welcome and bienvenue 🖤
