Feelings Friday? 🎭

If you want a book to not only make you cry, but also make you think? @authorjesslayne has this beautiful series.

Follow Althea as she learns who and what she is, and fight against everything she thought she knew was “correct”.

Yes there are fated mates, and dual timelines for a bit, and if I went to annotate this book? I would run out of tabs by 1/3 in because it’s just THAT good! It’s all on KU and she has her own website where you can buy signed copies, so check her out!

Thanks @bookish_morgano for teaching me carousels and helping me figure out how to design a post to represent 11 years of work. And thanks to @kc.the.spice.gremlin for the consult on the story itself. The group chat is the literal best.

Sometimes you’re reading a book, and are fully immersed in the incredible story telling, and sometimes you read a line and think IS THAT ACCURATE or I need a schematic because PHYSICS. We asked a few of our most beloved authors what their random google searches looked like when doing research for their books. And here’s what they had to say…

I hope you’re giggling…. at this googling.

when a mermaid & siren’s songs meet ⋆.ೃ࿔*:･ commission for @authorjesslayne ✦

I genuinely love drawing mermaids and sirens in this style, I feel like they came out soooooo well! And these characters had fascinating designs that made them both a challenge and a joy to draw ❤️
