AUTHOR UPDATE!!!! 💘

A SECOND SHOT has been out in the world for TWO weeks & I’m feeling so grateful for the love & excited for the future!! with that being said, I’ve put a lot of thought into what that future looks like for me & will be transitioning to a pen name from here on out!

Nikki Hutchings → Renee Monroe

over the next few weeks, you’ll start to see my name change across social media, websites, amazon, and other bookish platforms as I make the transition!! nothing about the book is changing, just the name on the cover!!!

welcome to the Renee Monroe era! 📖🐍💓 taken in BOOKSTA by @authorreneemonroe

Your honour, I love this story 😭 I don’t know what Renee put into this story but once I was hooked, I could not put it down!

Briar, a full-time wedding photographer lands a last minute dream job at a destination wedding in Switzerland, a potential career turning point. Enter Heath, the groom’s best man and maid-of-honor’s boyfriend. Between being there for his best friend and saving his failing relationship, the thing that Heath least expects is to run into Briar, his first love. For Briar, she is forced to confront the resurfacing emotions of a whirlwind high school romance that ended as quick as it started.

This dual-timeline second chance romance is full of extreme slow burns and lots of yearning. Thank you to @authorreneemonroe (previously Nikki Hutchings) and @houseofheartslit for this ARC! 💗 Find it on Kindle Unlimited and Amazon now!

Disclaimer: As with many of my reviews, swipe through for my full review and favourite quotes. If you’d prefer not to have any quotes spoiled, I would suggest sticking to this slide ☺️

🔔 Also note that the author now goes by her pen name Renee Monroe, just in case you’re confused why the cover still lists her previous name!
