POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I am excited (and nervous) to announce that I am opening up for art commissions! 🎨

I love art as much as I love writing! No joke. I have been crafting art since elementary and before and never set my pencil down for long. I have been asked in the past (several times) over the last few years if I have ever considered doing commissions. 😅 This is a scary thing for me and something I have avoided for years, but lately, I have been willing to push my comfort zone, try new things, and now I am willing to give this venture a go!

I have compiled some of the artwork in various forms that I have done over the years and recent months/weeks (so some of these were done 3-5 years ago... imagine how they would be now). 🥰✍️🎨

I love no spice authors, and as one who always dreamed of having quality art for her books, I can now say with confidence that I can produce such art. I am always striving to improve, so I am betting I can only get better with each project I do. 🥰❤️

I am open to 1 commission this month, 2 for May, 2 for June, 1 for July, 2 for August, and 2 for September. I'm just planning 6 months at a time. 😉

2026 is going to be a great year!

In 2025, I rebooted my author career with more focus and intention behind what I write and who I write for.

1. I write for me. I write for the teen me who wanted adventure, magic, and battles, all mashed together in an epic tale with characters that would find a home in my heart with purpose.

2. I write for readers who want fantasy overflowing with wonder and hope. Stories about characters with real and raw emotion. Characters that have to grow and learn from their mistakes, and that can't erase every consequence of their actions. Stories that take you on a journey in a fantastical world with culture, history, and lore.

3. I write to provide stories without the spice, where relationships are wholesome, respectful, and where strong FMC'S and MMC's protect each other.

My books will ALWAYS be No-Spice!
My books will ALWAYS be No-Language!
My books will likely always have battles and action with high stakes that get a bit gritty at times.

If this sounds like your kind of book, follow along on my publishing adventure and get to know my world and characters along the way. ✨️⚔️🫶📖

Hello, readers, writers, and fantasy world lovers!

I am excited to be here. 2026 is going to be a wonderful year filled with thrilling stories and adventures! ⚔️

Hi, my name is Tiffany (well, at least in the book realm). I write epic fantasy!

Growing up, I could never get enough of the magical battles and the characters behind wonderfully complex plots. I love foreshadowing future events, characters, and choices in my books. And my books will ALWAYS be no-spice, no language, and full of adventure in an immersive world.

If this is what you want to read, follow along and watch these stories unfold. ❤️

I got something super helpful today. As a busy busy mom of 5, author, and artist. It can only help to have something to guide me and help me form the structure of how to find my audience, how to tailor my posts to be fun and what you as a reader are looking for.

Because at the end of the day, I just love writing stories and sharing them with the world. 🙃💞📚✨️

Applications are open!

I'm gearing up for another pre-launch series of posts and fun for everyone! We have banter that is just spot on. 👌🤗 Thrilling escapes, battles, and high-stakes. The green flag MMC's. The brave and humble FMC's. The struggle of light vs dark, good vs evil, and all with clean romance, clean language, and non-glorified violence (PG-13, gets a bit intense).

Does this sound like your kind of corner? Jump on over to my page where you'll find the sign up form linked in my bio. 🫶✨️📚

Maybe epic fantasy isn't your thing. That's okay. Pass this post along anyway. You never know who may be looking for what I have to offer. 💞

Hi! I’m Rachel, the face behind ClosedDoorRomance!

I started this Bookstagram because I knew I couldn’t be the only reader who loved romance books but didn’t want explicit content.

I wanted a place where readers could discover incredible no spice romances, support lesser known authors, and find books they could feel confident picking up.

But I also knew that simply recommending books wasn’t enough.

I wanted readers to have the information they needed before reading a single page.

So I created the Closed Door Romance Database, which now has over 3,100 no spice romance books!

You can browse thousands of books by genre, trope or release date and see indo for intimacy levels, innuendo, swearing, violence, trigger warnings, POV, and more. Everything is also author-added so nothing is assumed or guessed.

Because even when a book doesn’t have explicit scenes, we all have different preferences for what we’re comfortable reading.

And whether you love romcoms, romantasy, historical romance, romantic suspense, or Christian romance, I want to help you find stories you’ll love.

So if you’re new here, welcome! I’m so glad you found this little corner of the bookish world.

❤️ Comment and let me know what No Spice Romance you are currently reading to what you are looking for

And if you comment "BD4" I'll send you to the database too!

Rachel
