I have a confession. I LOVE character art. I commissioned two pieces so far and had a special helper with the third🤫 😏

A huge thank you to @authortiffanymrhys and @artsbyannz for these pieces of Cam and Grace. I love seeing how different artists bring their own style and flair to life in our characters. I'm hoping to have even more character pieces from new artists once the budget allows.

PLEASE support human artists 💜💜💜 It takes them hours of their time to create their work and craft with their own hands, and the reward is so worth while.

Hi! I’m Rachel, the face behind ClosedDoorRomance!

I started this Bookstagram because I knew I couldn’t be the only reader who loved romance books but didn’t want explicit content.

I wanted a place where readers could discover incredible no spice romances, support lesser known authors, and find books they could feel confident picking up.

But I also knew that simply recommending books wasn’t enough.

I wanted readers to have the information they needed before reading a single page.

So I created the Closed Door Romance Database, which now has over 3,100 no spice romance books!

You can browse thousands of books by genre, trope or release date and see indo for intimacy levels, innuendo, swearing, violence, trigger warnings, POV, and more. Everything is also author-added so nothing is assumed or guessed.

Because even when a book doesn’t have explicit scenes, we all have different preferences for what we’re comfortable reading.

And whether you love romcoms, romantasy, historical romance, romantic suspense, or Christian romance, I want to help you find stories you’ll love.

Q: what’s your favorite epic fantasy?

This was such a fun reread!!! I love this world, characters, the unique magic systems (obsessed with that one!), FORBIDDEN ROMANCE! And the plot twists! The MC’s were absolutely everything! Their forbidden romance!!! The insta-love! The CHEMISTRY! I love Thoren & Dess!🩷 I love this book with my whole heart and now I can’t wait to read more by her! I can’t wait to read Beyond the Broken Throne and so much more!!!
