If you read that list and thought, “damn she a little crazy… I like her,” then BIENVENIDA!

I write dark romance for the readers who like their men morally questionable, their heroines a little unhinged, their spice unapologetic, and their plots dramatic enough to make a telenovela look emotionally stable.

Expect obsessive men. Possessive men. Cartel kings. Gods. Walking red flags. Latina women who refuse to behave. Bilingual dialogue (because I fucking CAN) sprinkled in exactly where it belongs.

Basically, I took everything that lives rent-free in my brain and turned it into books. 😂

So whether you’re starting with the cartel romance in Los Amos, stepping up to Latine Folklore with Altar, or diving into the rest of my fictional chaos…

Consider this your official welcome to the ximenaverse 💜

📚 All of my books are waiting for you.

October 12 2025, was the day something I had already started loving became something I had to grieve.

For months I didn’t know what to do with that kind of pain. The anger. The helplessness. The feeling that my own body had become a tomb instead of a home. The grief for a future I had already begun imagining.

So when Historias Encantadas came to life…I wrote and some of that grief found its way into ALTAR.

On the surface, Altar is a dark romance about an archaeologist sacrificed to an ancient sun god. There’s obsession, blood, desire, and all the beautifully fucked-up things I love writing about.

But underneath all of that is something much more personal.

It’s about a woman whose body has betrayed her. A woman trying to reclaim herself after something traumatic happens to her. A woman carrying anger and fear alongside love. A woman learning that she can grieve what happened to her and still love what comes after.

Marisol’s story gave me somewhere to put feelings I didn’t know how to say out loud and maybe, in some small way, I gave her the ending my heart wishes it would have had.

So today, on a date that once only represented one of the worst days of my life, I’m choosing to share something that grew from it.

ALTAR.

For the little life that changed me, even though I never got to meet them, and for every version of me that had to learn how to keep going afterward. 🤍

Please take care while reading: Altar contains pregnancy themes, loss of bodily autonomy, trauma, and other potentially sensitive material.
