Angels for Autism applications are OPEN!

The holidays can bring extra financial pressure for families, and no family should have to navigate those challenges alone.

Through our Angels for Autism program, Autism Strong Foundation is working to support eligible families across the Greater Charlotte region who need a little extra help this holiday season.

We believe every family deserves to feel supported, and sometimes a little help can make a meaningful difference.

An inclusive community doesn't happen by accident. It grows when we make space for different needs, different communication styles, and different ways of experiencing the world.

Sometimes inclusion means offering a quieter space. Sometimes it means being patient while someone communicates.

Sometimes it means letting a family participate in a way that works best for them.

We don't have to know everything to be more understanding. We just have to be willing to listen, learn, and make room for one another.

At Autism Strong Foundation, we want to help build a community where individuals and families feel welcomed for who they are.

We believe in a future where families know they have somewhere to turn.

A future where support is easier to find, differences are met with understanding, and individuals and families feel welcomed in their communities.

We're grateful for every person who helps move that vision forward — the families who share their stories, the volunteers who give their time, the partners who believe in our mission, and the community that continues to show up.

We had SO much fun at BuildStrong this past weekend! 💙✨

We were so excited to get out into the community, support such an amazing cause, and spend the day connecting with so many incredible families, providers, and other professionals who share the same passion for supporting the autism community. 🫶

Our team had the BEST time meeting everyone who stopped by the Abacus tent and of course helping the sweet kiddos make lots and lots of sensory jars!

Days like this are such a good reminder of why we love what we do 💙 We’re so grateful to be part of a community filled with people who care so deeply about making a difference!

BuildStrong may be over, but the impact is just beginning.

Every ticket, sponsorship, donation and act of support helps Autism Strong Foundation connect local families with resources that can make a real difference.

That includes financial assistance for therapy, support during the holidays, camp opportunities and other needs families face along the autism journey.

And right now, families are able to apply for support through programs like Angels for Autism and N.E.E.D. Funding.
