This verse of the day really touched me because I’ve been feeling just this from God lately. My battles aren’t conquered by me but my God. He is my strength! So I give Him everything and exalt His name for the seen and not yet seen!

Everything doesn’t have to look perfect to be good. 🤎

Sometimes the life you prayed for looks a little different than you imagined—and sometimes it’s even better that way.

Maybe your house is a mess, your plans changed, or you’re figuring things out as you go.

You can still enjoy where you are while working toward where you want to be.

You don’t have to rush through this season just because it doesn’t look like someone else’s.

Make room for what works for you, your family, and the life you’re actually living. There’s beauty in making it work with what you have.

@toystory is a weekly event in our house now.

Took 2 months off Pilates (and working out consistently) and I’m pretty sure I gain back all the weight I lost this year 😭 But we’re back at it!

NGL September was something else!! Between traveling, unpacking grief for the first time, unexpected hospital visits, and preparing to move, September really posed its challenges!

Today felt like a good day to start again, not because things suddenly got better, but because my God is still faithful and I get to choose what the next 31 days are going to look like for me. We all do.

So here’s to October, to settling in, taking things one box at a time, making our new place feel like home, being present with my babies and for family, creating again, and making room for the things God has placed on my heart.

It’s a new rule in our house: If you’re in the kitchen while mommy’s cleaning or cooking you gotta be helping. So here they are “helping” 🤣

Brielle actually did a really good job and knows the general area where things belong. Caleb put up a couple pots and cutting boards too with some assistance.

I’m just happy they want to help 🤎

The Jacksonville Zoo’s new splash pad was so much fun, but make sure you come prepared with everything you and your kids will need to have the best time!

I brought:
- Individual slider sandwiches (AKA party sliders, AKA Hawaiian Roll Sandwiches)
-Swim diapers (they are required)
- Sunscreen
- Beach towels
- Dry clothes we could all ride home in
- Other small snacks (food is allowed, just not in the actually water area)
- Portable potty seat (no seat covers I the bathrooms 🙃)
- Wagon or stroller (they’ll be tired and may not wanna walk back to the car)
- Water bottles (electrolytes if it’s super hot out)
- Portable Fans

Have Fun!!

Hawaiian Sliders Recipe:
- 1 pack Hawaiian rolls
- 1 pack Honey Smoked ham (or meat of your choice)
- 1 pack Swiss cheese (or cheese of your choice)
- mayo
- Dijon (or regular mustard)
- (melted)
- Worcestershire sauce
- onion powder

Assemble sandwiches. Top with the butter, sauce, and onion powder mixture. Toast in the oven on 350 for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted. Enjoy!

I love waking up before the kids. More often than not I get to do some of the things I can’t do while they’re awake, uninterrupted. Things like prep dinner and snacks for the day, workout, read my Word, etc, making my day smoother.

This particular morning very quickly turned into 1-on-1 time with my little sonshine and I was okay with that.

For months, I’ve been practicing CONSISTENTLY pouring into my own cup so that I can EFFECTIVELY pour into my family, and that helps me more so appreciate mornings like this than dread losing my time to myself 🤎🫶🏽

It took 40 days and 40 nights but it got done! 😂😂

I swear every time I start doing my own braids I have so much ambition that I trick myself into thinking I can get it done in 2 days. It Never happens 🤣 But it got done and I love it so that’s all I’m going to focus on.

There are plenty of things to do in Jacksonville, and here’s one of them!

I’ve been enjoying time with @coffeerunwithjesusjax lately! They meet every Saturday morning at Memorial Park at 8am for a walk, or run if you choose, and time in the Word!

Bring your Bibles, your blankets, and your babies. And bring a heart to receive whatever God intends to do.
