We are combining our efforts to help someone very special - @avatarguille firmly believes that enjoying dance in community should be an easily accessible and freeing experience that anyone willing and able to move should benefit from.❤️ Honouring that giving sense of togetherness, I have been organising a series of Open Dance Classes to raise funds for him and help him cover his ongoing medical costs and expenses post surgery. 💌 If you are not aware of Guille’s current circumstances, you can visit his profile or my Story highlights (GoFundMe) - he was recently diagnosed with a kind of osteoarthritis that has been affecting his herniated discs, causing both spinal bulging and numbness. He had to very quickly undergo a non-invasive procedure in Jakarta which was very costly but seems to be one of the most effective treatments to improve his condition. He is currently healing and not able to earn a living doing what he has always been so passionately sharing with the world. These classes will motivate donations while supporting a beautiful exchange in an environment where everyone can thrive, learn, contribute and celebrate. All proceeds will be directly donated to Guille to avoid GoFundMe waiting times and the platform’s costly management fees. 🫂 This second Open Dance Class will be co-facilitated and instructed at @elite.dance.cork on Sunday 28 (starting at 20:15), by @paxsea and myself. We will teach a variety of disciplines in the studio which feature specialties not often included in the regular schedule: a great opportunity to join and learn something new! The session will include a taste of: Lollipop 🍭 Chains ⛓️ Pole 🎠 Vogue 🫷 Twerk 🍑 Chair 🪑 Floorwork 🐾 Let’s enjoy something special in community and give back to someone so special that has always been giving the world so much love and passion!
