It’s timeeeee!

To learn
To grow
To deepen
To strengthen
To soften
To align
To dive

Into PILATES!

Let’s go!

75 Hour Mat Pilates Flow Teacher Training
THE WORK

Fully virtual & in-person hybrid options available
5/30-7/26

We will learn anatomy, the exercises, alignment, sequencing, musicality, cueing, assists, business, pre/postnatal, and SO MUCH MORE.

This training blends a classical and contemporary approach - a culmination of my 20+ years of study in this space. Many people know I am specific - we get to study the WHY and the HOW. I love this practice that morphs with me, helps me understand my body better, and continues to create resilience in my life, with my body, and in my mind.

It’s so exciting that Pilates is something people are stoked about right now, and it’s important to me that we maintain integrity with it as we teach and practice.

Link in bio for all the info - there’s also a bundle on my Myofascial Teacher Training with @amandalee.lac if you want a summer of learning and self-study.

Besides, who doesn’t love a good moment feeling connected to their breath, their core, and their whole system?! ❤️‍🔥

Kicking off this ♉️ year with SO many exciting things on the horizon!

We are scheduled out on THE WORK - this year has been one of the business and the build. We’ve mapped out how our trainings will evolve, what retreats will best serve our community, and I am so thrilled to get to share it all here!

Scroll through for the full list. More details on all to come, but next up is:

Mat Pilates Flow Teacher Training

We start May 30th!

This training is a little more spaced out, and as always, we have over 55 live contact hours, as well as 20+ hours of supplemental prerecorded content.

We will blend a classical lens with a contemporary approach to find alignment, functional anatomy, engagement, breath & pressure management, sequencing & transitions, and musicality wrapped in one!

My signature style is Mat Pilates Flow, and we will build towards it together.

The yoga principles will be shared as always, you’ll get 1:1 time with me, and you have access to ALL materials for 12 months post-training.

This training is a culmination of the last 20 years of study for me, and in particular the last year. I dove deeper into my own training and education, and I can’t wait to share it to you!

There is a fully online option, as well as a hybrid in-person/virtual option (with nearly all sessions offered in person).

Link in bio for all the info, exact dates and lecture times (but everything will be recorded and can be taken on demand), and more.

There’s even a bundle with the Myofascial Release Teacher Training I’m co-leading with @amandalee.lac - so maybe you join us for a summer of learning and growth.

Any questions? You know where to find me! Comment below or shoot me a message. ❤️‍🔥 by @avamoreno

Here’s a video of me and @krista_e dancing together in Mexico to convince you to come to our co-teach tomorrow @we.love.camp ! 💃🏻

We won’t salsa…or maybe we will? Anyway, come see for yourself the joy we bring together at 7am in Flow.

P.S. THE WORK is headed back to @xinalani January 16-23 on retreat and I hope you’ll join me for a week in one of the most incredible places I’ve been lucky enough to host at. Link in bio for the details! ❤️‍🔥 by @avamoreno

Does this look cozy to you?

Yeah, same. This season is for starting to embrace coziness - yes, even in the middle of the rush of “back to school” and things picking up. Fall is the time of discernment, structure, the metal element - boundaries and discipline.

Within this, though, we can be cozy. We can be soft within the container we create and set for ourselves. In fact, we operate best when we find this harmony of containment and ease.

This is the exact reason I’m leading my Yin Teacher Training this fall. It’s our time to look inward, create routine and ritual for ourselves, apply just the right amount of structure, and then see what grows in that space.

Additionally, the cat’s out of the bag! 300 Hour Yin & Yang Training kicks off with a 75-hour Yin Module. Online and hybrid in-person options for both tracks.

Link in bio or comment YIN for the scoop. We start next week, but if you decide to join us and jump in late, go for it. Everything is recorded and spaced in a way that’s designed to support YOU.

When was the last time someone corrected you?

If you’ve been teaching a while, you know how this goes. You spend your days watching other people’s bodies, cueing other people’s breath, holding space for other people’s breakthroughs. Your own practice gets squeezed into whatever’s left. Maybe it’s gotten a little familiar. Maybe there are poses you’ve quietly stopped going near.

For eight days at the end of October, you get to be the student again.

Dan Ward’s been teaching for over three decades and is one of the most respected senior teachers working internationally. Ava Moreno’s spent more than ten years leading advanced trainings around the world. They’re coming from LA for NAMASKAR, an advanced immersion for people who’ve been on the mat long enough to know the work never really finishes.

Expect to sharpen your own practice, get experienced eyes on the things you’ve been working around, and shift in the parts that are still hard. Then you’ll take all of it back to your students.

Oct 24 – 31 📍The IN Movement, Ubud, Bali
60 Yoga Alliance CE hours (YACEP), which count toward future 300hr study

Spaces are limited 👉🏽 Link in our bio to book.

There’s a reason we’re taking this work to Bali. 🌿

Sometimes, stepping away from your everyday life gives you the space to see your practice differently.

For eight days, we get to set aside the emails, schedules, classes, responsibilities, and noise and simply immerse ourselves in the work.

Our mornings will begin in silence.

We’ll meditate
Practice
Study
Workshop
Ask questions
Teach
Journal
Eat together
Explore Bali
Rest.

And then we’ll wake up and do it again. 🌞

NAMASKAR isn’t about escaping your life.

It’s about creating enough space to return to it with something new.

October 24–31, 2026 | Ubud, Bali

April 2026

My annual trip to Southeast Asia filled my heart, as it always does. I had a cohort of eight FUN teacher trainees @marstudio.movement in Vietnam to wrap up our intensive and grad classes for Yoga Barre Teacher Training. @yaskimberly put me to WORK with master classes and workshops all over the city, and we ate the best food and drank the best tea - of course.

I spent a handful of days at the end surfing in Uluwatu, getting some sun and my fair share of coconuts and sunsets.

Back in LA, more filming for Mat Pilates Training and our on demand collections, and the kitties were happy to have me home. Made @krista_e lift some weights with me 😘

Speaking of BALI, we’re going back! @danwarddog and I will be in Ubud October 24-31 for an immersion @the_in_movement for teachers and serious practitioners. If you want to dive deeper into the practice and study, we hope you’ll take the leap and join us for this incredible experience.

@cailynodonnell and I are headed back to Ulu in April for a retreat! Many options to join me back in Indonesia this coming year. 🤍

March 2026: Part 1

We went to Mexico for one of my favorite retreats to date! @krista_e and I co-led a week of movement, connection, sunshine, SO much laughter, rest, and incredible food. So very grateful for my talented friend who seamlessly linked with me like puzzle pieces made to fit. 🧩💚 you are the greatest, Krista!

We had the most special group and the most special location, and there was magic that week.

I’m still dreaming of the dolphins, the water, the conversations, and the most stunning scenery for practice.

In case you haven’t heard…Mexico Retreat 2027 is happening in January! THE WORK is headed back 🤩. Link in bio or comment “MEXICO” for the scoop! ❤️ by @avamoreno

This year has brought so much abundance and a MULTITUDE of opportunities. I am beyond grateful and so happy to be in this current phase of life, and…

My body feels it! The demands I put on my systems are high, I’m hypermobile and my joints don’t know what’s up from down, and I’m getting older every year. What a privilege it is to age! Yet, as each year passes, I notice the changes in how I recover, in how my body responds and reacts to everything, and how what I do makes such a difference in how I feel and how I’m able to sustain having enough gas in the tank to keep moving at the pace I am.

Thank you to my big sister and homie @amandalee.lac for always taking the best care of me and this bod! I was lucky enough to spend a whole half-day @kuleana_holistichealth this week with acupuncture, @sunlightensaunas , @ballancerpro , AND a massage with the best, Lulu.

I didn’t even know my nervous system could be that hard reset, but trust me, it did. I walked out of there feeling like a million 💵, and knowing I’m taking care of this machine that fights hard to keep me running each day gives me the greatest piece of mind.

Love you, ALM - and all of you, please don’t forget to take care of yourself, your body, your beautiful brain…and treat yourself once in a while, y’all! ❤️‍🔥 by @avamoreno

If there’s one major, beautiful lesson I’ve been reminded of this past year of study with @danwarddog , it’s that the learning never really ends.

Some of the most important lessons happen long after your first certification or training, and I can confirm that year after year, I continue to uncover more and more about myself and this practice of yoga. I’m thrilled to join one of my teachers for a week of study, practice, and connection in my favorite place in the world!

Join us for an advanced yoga immersion designed for teachers and students who want to challenge themselves, deepen their understanding, and continue evolving their craft.
