Some partnerships just make sense. 💙💚💛

Meet kūpaa (@kupaa.sg), born from a simple love story. Julia, a German girl in Singapore, fell hard for our takeaway culture… but not for the mountain of single-use packaging that came with every dabao. So together with her Singaporean co-founder, they set out to fix it: thoughtfully designed reusable lunchboxes made for takeaway, meal prep, and everything in between.

And now? They’ve found a home with us at Average Service for the next couple of months. 🛰️

Study Jam Vol. 02 is here, and our tables are filling up again 👩‍🏫

Here's the idea. You walk in. You find a seat. You open your laptop, spread out your notes, put your headphones on, and disappear for a few hours. Maybe you're revising for exams. Maybe you're chasing a deadline. Maybe you just can't stare at your bedroom wall anymore. Whatever brought you here, there's no pressure and no expectations, just good coffee, good food, good company, and a space that actually wants you to get things done.

This time around we've also added mini signature rice bowls at a special Study Jam price because between the second matcha and the fourth hour of editing your body remembers it hasn't eaten and we'd rather you not have to leave your seat. So grab a drink, grab a bowl, grab your corner and don't move until you're ready.

Some stories are stitched into the clothes we keep. 🧵 This august, we're trading fireworks for fabric.

There's the NS tee your dad wore. Your grandmother's kebaya folded in a drawer. That batik shirt from a trip you still think about. A qipao you've never worn but can't throw away. They sit in our wardrobes waiting for a second life and this National Day we're giving them one.

Stitched Together is a coaster workshop we're hosting with Circular Fashion Hub on the 2nd of August and the idea is simple. Bring three pieces of clothing that mean something to you and together we'll cut them up, piece them together, and sew them into a set of four fabric coasters you get to take home.

Each coaster is made from different fabrics layered together, your stories, your heritage, your memories, stitched into something you'll actually use every day. Inspired by the way Singapore itself is pieced together from so many different cultures, backgrounds, and traditions all sharing one home.

Pigubao is a longevity peach bun who fell from heaven, landed on earth, and somehow became a wandering herbalist with a store full of rare little remedies for the weary modern soul. In their Travelling Tonic collection, you’ll find handmade keychain charms and prescriptions for burnout, people-pleasing, poor sleep, and other modern-day ailments alongside a variety of products ranging from totes, tees, stickers & pins.
