AMBASSADOR SPOTLIGHT | 𝔸𝕧𝕖𝕣𝕪 𝕄𝕔𝕀𝕟𝕧𝕒𝕝𝕖

Meet Avery McInvale from Desdemona, Texas! As a second-generation cattle raiser with more than 10 years of experience exhibiting cattle at the state and national levels, Avery has grown up with a deep appreciation for the cattle industry and the people who make it what it is.

Avery is actively involved in the show cattle industry and currently serves as the 2025–2028 Texas Junior Polled Hereford Association Secretary/Treasurer. She is pursuing a degree in Agricultural Science & Communications at Angelo State University, where she serves as the 2025–2026 Agribusiness Quiz Bowl Team Secretary and was recently elected 2026–2027 Agriculture Department Senator.

When she’s not in class or involved in agriculture, you might find Avery at the school ranch, making floral arrangements, reading a good book, running around campus, or finding another opportunity to advocate for the beef cattle industry.

Avery’s passion for advocacy comes from seeing firsthand the impact that education and meaningful conversations can have. As a 2024–25 Rodeo Austin Junior Leader, one of her favorite experiences was helping bridge the gap between consumers and agriculture. Many of the people she met had little to no experience with livestock production, giving her the opportunity to share not only what cattle raisers do, but why they do it.

That experience strengthened her communication skills and reinforced the importance of meeting people where they are, building trust, and sharing agriculture with sincerity.

As a Cattlemen’s Classic Ambassador, Avery hopes to continue those efforts by sharing the story of farmers and ranchers, promoting the values and traditions of the beef industry, and creating a welcoming environment for everyone interested in learning more about agriculture.

We are proud to have Avery representing the Cattlemen’s Classic and cannot wait to see the impact she makes throughout the coming year!

Help us welcome Avery to the Cattlemen’s Classic Ambassador Team! 💚
