Being home with my kiddos this summer, at this age, feels like a dream state 🌀 and I am soaking it all in… reminding myself I am not in a rush…I have plenty of time… This season of motherhood for me is feeling so potent in putting some things to rest, birthing some things new… and all while finding and returning to something lost… 🌦️🍉🌈🧺🤿🌞🐬📋📖🔸 by @averyemoore

☁️ This week we are going to study clouds!

📖 Monday - Read all about clouds. We picked out books at the end of last week at our local library. We’ve been reading about the reason for the seasons and also already started with Little Cloud by Eric Carle.

🥣 Tuesday - Make fluffy marshmallows. With a few simple ingredients we’ll make homemade nourishing marshmallows.

🎨Wednesday - Cloud painting on mirrors. Well take the paint and some mirrors outside and do a brief nature study- no end goal- just some paints.

✂️ Thursday - Make a cloud finder out of cardboard tubes. Saved a few toilet paper rolls to make our own binoculars, or cloud viewers.

🧺 Friday - Find animals in the clouds. We already started this last weekend, but well take a picnic to the park, lay around, and talk about shapes and animals in the clouds.

📚 Saturday - Steamed milk and story. More stories and cuddles. Steamed milk and honey.

☀️ Summer Template ☀️

Creating a gentle and flexible rhythm for our growing family that considers all the seasons. 🌞

Little rhythms like these help keep me grounded with so much going on inside and outside of the home.

In Florida we are entering rainy season. One of my favorites, minus the scary big storms.

Leaning into it all while learning more with my sweet & loving family.

📚Last night we read The Reasons for the Seasons by Gail Gibbons.
