The mural I painted in Tarpon Springs for @petes_general was nominated for Best Mural on the @visitspc site 🤿

Not saying you should go to their page and fill it out if you think this is the best contender but I’m not, not! I don’t think I’ve ever asked for a vote for anything but I would love to do more work like this that can directly impact communities and giving this one a little attention couldn’t hurt those odds.

Thanks again to Steven and the Pete’s team for the trust on the design and for being so accommodating in tandem with @72_mondays and @cocobeanie 🫶 Still really looking forward to getting back up there in the near future and spending more time in my new favorite home away from home.

Thanks for having a l👀k!

Got my film back from @indieflea or at least it feels like it with the @campsnapcamera 📷 Just uploaded these and you get a similar feeling when you first see the photos, especially when a 4 year old was taking most of them.

We snagged a campsnap for Daisy as an alternative to her asking for our phones for the camera but @averyemoore and I love it and take turns logging memories when Daisys not using it.

Indie Flea at City Hall was a blast! I had a make shift set up with a few remaining woodcuts for Cugar City and my latest obsession- label printer art 🖨️. As always the best part is the people. Such a good time with friends and family and I appreciate anyone who comes to hang and show support.

@djdaisychain was holding it down on the sound system, @coconut_cart was slanging drinks, @petes_general kept us fed and I left with a dragon tree from @lidasjungle that I can’t believe I ever lived without. Sneak peek of my “office” in the last slide.

So wild to think that this event started as the little old Indie Market over a decade ago by my big sis @rosegoldvtg and a small handful of friends vending in front of her shop on Central Ave. It’s a full on hub for St. Pete (& beyond) small business and more social interaction than I get in a whole month.

I’ve seen countless individuals use this platform to go full time in their creative endeavors. Like anything else- you get out of it what you put in. I’ve had days where I didn’t realize you could make that much money hanging with your friends and days where I’ve spent more than I’ve made and everything in between.

One thing about it is despite the amount of prep work- it’s FUN to park your van in front of a seemingly AI generated courthouse (did anyone actually see them build it??🧐), crank the tunes and share whatever it is you do with the world. For me it’s not about the sales but putting a face to the names of the movers and shakers that have been making waves in our community.

Shout out @rosegoldvtg for hosting a monthly party that I can bring my girls to, @averyemoore for being the best mom/DJ ever, old man Mark for reminding us of our roots before everyone had fancy tents and YOU for having a l👀k!
