15 weken progressie - 4,6 kg & -7,5% vet

Grow up.

Welke aanpassing ga jij proberen?

DM me.

Laat me je helpen :)

You probably have an idea how a healthy life should look like:

Eating healthy, exercising and stress balanced life.

But somehow you’re still stuck in your routines.

You don’t have a system, and that’s why I made the AVES system:

A = Active → planning workouts in your calendar like appointments. No time left = no excuse.

V = Vital → mealprep on your lightest day. A healthy meal, always waiting for you.

E = Energetic → three fixed meal options. No tracking, no decisions, no drain.

S = Stress management → a hard stop ritual. Phone down, coritsol down.

Four pillars. One system. Built for busy people who are done winging it.

This is the foundation of my AVES performance coaching.

Want to apply it to your life? DM “AVES” and we’ll build it together. For free

Progressive overload isn’t a direct cause of muscle growth.

It is a check that shows wether your muscles have adapted from the previous session.

These 4 increase training stress, but are not progressive overload:

1. More sets → adds more work
2. Shorter rest → more fatique
3. Training more often → adds more stress
4. Changing the exercise → changes the movement

Training hard does not always equal better progression. Keep that in mind.

Struggling with sleep and low energy? Start here ↓

As a human movement scientist, these are the habits I come back to most:

For better sleep 💤

🛏️ Light stretch + breathwork -  helps bring your body into a more relaxed state.

🛏️ Casein snack -  quark, yogurt, or milk support overnight recovery.

🛏️ No screens after 8 p.m. - blue light and mental stimulation both work against sleep.

🛏️Cool room - your body needs a drop in temperature to fall asleep more easily.

For more energy during the day🔋

⚡️Daylight within 30 minutes of waking - helps regulate the hormones that keep you alert.

⚡️Water before coffee - rehydrate first after 7–8 hours without fluids.

⚡️No phone for 30 minutes - keep your attention on yourself before the world gets it.

⚡️Go outside after getting dressed - daylight, movement, and headspace in one habit.

Follow for more sleep and energy tips!

Most gym gear is not useless, but…

A lot of it is not worth buying first.

Here is the short version:

C-tier: Knee sleeves
Nice if you want a bit more support, but they will not magically make you stronger.

B tier: Magnesium
If your hands get sweaty, this is actually useful. Better grip = better lifts.

D tier: Wrist wraps
For most people, these are low priority unless you really need wrist support.

B tier: Weightlifting belt
Helpful for feeling more stable on heavy lifts, but not the magic fix people think it is.

S tier: Straps
If your grip gives up before the muscle you are trying to train, these are absolutely worth it.

If you are trying to save money, buy the things that solve an actual problem in your training first.

For me: straps first, wrist wraps last.

Save this before your next gym order.

Your brain isn’t lazy — it just needs a warm-up.

You wouldn’t walk into the gym and load your 1RM on the bar without warming up… so stop expecting instant focus from yourself, too.

Try this:
Set a timer for 5 minutes and commit to doing the task until it goes off — no matter what.

That’s usually enough to break resistance and build momentum.
And once momentum kicks in, focus gets a lot easier

Use this on the thing you’ve been avoiding today.
Save this for later + comment “7” if you want more focus warm-ups.

You got this!
