The last six months in Boulder. Trained with some of the best, learned a lot, raced a lot, and made some incredible friends along the way.

20th overall at Northern California 70.3.
Cramped during the swim but still came out of the water in 8th.
The bike course was a lot tougher than it looked on paper. Punchy climbs, technical sections, and not many places to really settle in. Easily one of the best bike courses I’ve raced in North America.
The first half of the bike felt pretty good, then the cramping started creeping back in.
By the time I got to the run, the legs were cooked and it became more about managing the cramps and getting to the finish line. Definitely not the run split or overall result I wanted, but still a fun day racing. taken in Redding, CA by @aviad_mana

A solid day at Boise 70.3. 19th overall in a Pro Series race which is my best result to date. Lots of room for improvement but things are trending in the right direction by @aviad_mana

P27 at Chattanooga 70.3
After breaking my elbow six weeks ago I wasn’t sure I would even be on the start line.
Front pack swim and 6th out of the water. It felt super relaxed which was a nice surprise considering my lack of swim fitness with only 2 weeks of swim training.
The bike was bad. I knew it would be difficult since I haven’t been able to ride in TT but I expected more. The legs didn’t cooperate from the start and it just got worse.
The run started rough with severe hip pain coming off the bike. I was pretty much jogging for the first half then everything started to loosen up. Negative split the run trying to catch as many people as possible but ran out of real estate just as I was starting to feel good.

DNF at Boise 70.3.
Solid swim, strong bike — it was shaping up to be a great day. But right as I hit the run, foot pain kicked in. Tried to push through, but by mile 8 it was clear something wasn’t right. Pulled the plug.
Next stop: Louisville 70.3 in 3 weeks
