Jolly2Jolly pt. 3 🇵🇭🇨🇦

Shoutout to @jaypisrunning for organizing this once again and getting the Filipino community together in Toronto in support of Red Cross Philippines for families affected by the typhoons back home.

Thank you @jollibeecanada for fuelling us with fried chicken, burger steak, spaghetti, peach mango pies and pineapple drinks!

Let’s do it again next year!

Tell me what’s harder… running a marathon or cheering? They’re both hard in my opinion.

From Manhattan to Brooklyn, dealing with packed trains on the subway, hours of standing, cheering and running and walking. I made it back to Central Park just to see my friend cross the finish line. I’m sure I wasn’t the only one who did this kind of adventure. I’m just glad I found my friend at the end.

Congrats to everybody who ran @nycmarathon

New York City, you are beyond special! 🫶

3 Marathons in 48 hours

This weekend I had the privilege to witness some of my friends in the running community tackle some difficult challenges. First, @outrunthedarkness and @thegumprunner running 200 Miles at SOO 200. Second, the homies @juliancompton and @joooe.francisco running 5K every hour for 14 consecutive hours fundraising for @kickbackfoundation
Lastly, @charlesdemunda running 100KM for @terryfoxfoundation

Seeing these guys tackle these challenges was all the fuel I needed to attempt to run 3 marathons this weekend in just a little over 48 hours. Thank you all for inspiring me to do something difficult and something I have never done before.

This year I’m doing Project 26 - running 26 Marathons from January 2025 to January 1, 2026 fundraising for @hollandbloorview

My goal is to raise $2026 towards research, programs, and services for kids with disabilities. Your support means a lot. Link in bio.

Thank you again to my friends who allowed me to run these marathons with them while tackling their own difficult challenges. Thank you to the running community in Toronto. I appreciate you all.

Peak Week 📈

This marathon training block has been different from my past ones. This one was focused on keeping my weekly volume lower and focusing on quality of my runs. I tried my best to incorporate speed work and harder long-run efforts every week. And I’ve learned to step back when my body is saying I need to take it easy on my hard scheduled workouts. Needless to say I peaked just at 94 km.

I can honestly say I feel stronger and fitter than ever. Now it’s officially time to taper.

In 21 days, I’ll be running @towaterfront42k for the 5th year in a row. This one will be dedicated to my friend Tyrone, who we recently lost. We think about you and miss you every day.

Shoutout to the homies for joining me for some miles during my longest long run workout of this block. And yes, I am racing in the New Balance SC Elite V6! 🙌🏼

Summer Send Off feat @hoka

There’s no better way to end the summer than giving it your mile personal best on the track. We’ve put the work in all summer long, it’s only right to test it out on the track.

Congratulations to everyone who broke new mile personal best and thank you to every one who came out.

Thank you @_claresnider for bringing some of Hoka’s fastest shoes and letting us rip them on the track.

Until next summer… ✌🏽😏

Unboxing - SuperComp Elite V6 📦

From running in the RC Elite 2, SC Elite V4, and V5. And now I have the SC Elite V6 in my hands. I can’t wait to take these for a run, better yet race in them! Thank you @newbalancerunning for sending this package over. But honestly, I’m more excited putting the @ninjakitchencanada portable blender to good use.
👍🏽😆

August, you were a special one.

Plenty of amazing memories in one month. And I’m beyond grateful to each and every one of y’all for making it extra special.

To our very own Tyrone, you will always be in our thoughts each and every time we run this path along the waterfront. We miss you brother.

The marathon continues…
