On this day, one month ago, we lost our brother, Tyrone Magbitang.

Today, we continue to honour his life the best way we know how.

Together.

Thank you to everyone who came out for Tyrone’s tribute run, to everyone who donated, and to every single person who has supported this journey. Your kindness, generosity, and unwavering support have meant more than words can express.

We’re so blessed to share that we’ve now surpassed our $11,000 goal toward his memorial benches in Whitby and Etobicoke. Both places where family, friends, and the community will always have a space to remember him.

Tyrone’s impact reached far beyond the km we ran. His kindness, loyalty, and spirit continue to bring people together, and that’s a legacy that will never fade.

Thank you for helping us keep his memory alive.

Forever in our hearts. 🕊️💙

1,000+ Kilometers. Countless smiles. One unforgettable day. Read full caption.

We hosted our first-ever Backyard Ultra, and words can’t quite capture the grit, the hugs, and the pure emotion on that field. Some tackled a loop, some pushed the full 12 hours, but everyone brought their heart.
Beyond the physical challenge, this day carried a profound purpose:

Honoring a Superhero: We ran in loving memory of Tyrone, a dear friend who passed suddenly on Tuesday. He personified kindness, and we kept his spirit alive with every single loop.

Saving Lives: We teamed up to raise funds for @canadaslifeline and added amazing new donors to the registry! 🩸

To our Running Waters family, our incredible sponsors, and everyone who cheered us on—THANK YOU. You made our first ultra a beautiful celebration of life, community, and resilience.

Same time, same place? What y’all say we do it again next year? 🤫🙌🏼

A week out from the 2nd annual Ajax Waterfront Race.

Set along the Lake Ontario shoreline at Rotary Park, it’s a day built around good people, good energy, and a community that continues to show up.

With options from the kids 1K to the 5K, 15K, and 20K challenge, there’s something for everyone.

Whether you’re running, supporting, or just taking it in by the water… it’s always a good time.

See you Sunday.

Summer Send Off feat @hoka

There’s no better way to end the summer than giving it your mile personal best on the track. We’ve put the work in all summer long, it’s only right to test it out on the track.

Congratulations to everyone who broke new mile personal best and thank you to every one who came out.

Thank you @_claresnider for bringing some of Hoka’s fastest shoes and letting us rip them on the track.

Until next summer… ✌🏽😏
