So, today I had one of those little proud-mom moments❤️

We took @avyatheartist for her dental visit, and everything went so smoothly. The dentist took her teeth impressions and she cooperated so beautifully throughout.

Then the dentist suggested an X-ray to check her teeth. While speaking to the radiologist on the phone, they asked, “The child is small… will she cooperate for the X-ray?”

And the dentist immediately said, “Yes, yes, she’s very cooperative. You can go ahead.” 🥹❤️

And honestly, hearing that made me feel so proud.

She’s always been a sweet and gentle child, but seeing her handle new experiences with so much calmness and courage just makes my heart happy.

My little girl is growing up, and these small moments make me realise it all over again❤️

I want to raise a reader, not just a child who reads for school📚❤️

One thing I’ve noticed with my daughter is that she watches what I do.

When she sees me reading, she naturally becomes curious about my book. And that’s when I realised—maybe “monkey see, monkey do” really does work! 😂

I don’t think the answer is simply taking screens away. It’s about giving children something they genuinely want to choose instead.

So, if you’re also trying to build a reading habit in your child, start small.
Let them choose their books.
Read with them.
Create a little reading routine.
Keep books around.
And most importantly… let them see YOU reading❤️

Because children don’t just listen to what we say.
They watch what we do.

🇮🇳 Freedom is not just what we inherited. It’s what we choose to protect.

Today, as I celebrate Independence Day with my daughter, I’m reminded that patriotism is not only about holding the flag or singing the anthem.

It’s about the values we pass on.
It’s about raising children who are kind, responsible, fearless and proud of where they come from.
It’s about respecting the sacrifices that gave us our freedom—and using that freedom to build a better tomorrow❤️

As a mother, my biggest dream is to see my daughter grow up in an India where she feels safe to dream, free to speak, and brave enough to make a difference.

It’s never about finding more time. It’s about making the time you have count🌻🤍

Being a working mom often comes with a little guilt. There are days when work takes over, and I wish I had a few more hours to spend with my daughter.

But over time, I’ve realized that children don’t always remember the big plans—they remember how we made them feel in the little moments.

So we’ve started creating our own little rituals.

🎬 A mommy-daughter movie date.

🌅 Skipping together on the terrace.

🍱 Packing her favorite tiffin and slipping in a tiny handwritten note.

❤️ Sitting together over a simple meal and talking about our day.

None of these take a lot of time, but they fill our hearts in the biggest way.

These little rituals help us reconnect, laugh, talk, and remind each other that no matter how busy life gets, we’ll always make space for us.

To every working parent who’s trying to balance it all—don’t wait for the perfect day or the perfect vacation. Sometimes, love is simply found in the ordinary moments we choose to make extraordinary.
