So, today I had one of those little proud-mom moments❤️

We took @avyatheartist for her dental visit, and everything went so smoothly. The dentist took her teeth impressions and she cooperated so beautifully throughout.

Then the dentist suggested an X-ray to check her teeth. While speaking to the radiologist on the phone, they asked, “The child is small… will she cooperate for the X-ray?”

And the dentist immediately said, “Yes, yes, she’s very cooperative. You can go ahead.” 🥹❤️

And honestly, hearing that made me feel so proud.

She’s always been a sweet and gentle child, but seeing her handle new experiences with so much calmness and courage just makes my heart happy.

My little girl is growing up, and these small moments make me realise it all over again❤️

So proud of you, Avya! 🧿✨

To the little girl who filled my life with every colour imaginable… 🌈❤️

Happy Birthday, my baby! 🎂✨

Life with you has never had a dull moment😆From your little tantrums and endless questions to your hugs, giggles and the million little conversations we have every day—you have brought so much life, laughter and colour into my world🥹💗

And now, as you’re growing up, I’m watching something even more beautiful happen… you’re slowly becoming my little bestie🥹🫶🏻

The way you understand me, stand up for me and sometimes even defend me in front of others… that little proud feeling I get in those moments is something I can’t explain❤️

You may be my daughter, but you’re also becoming one of my favourite people to share this life with.

I hope you always stay this kind, brave, loving, curious and wonderfully crazy little soul✨

Mumma will always be your safest place, your biggest cheerleader and your forever partner-in-crime🤍

Happy Birthday, my little bestie🎂🌻
I love you more than words will ever be able to say🧿❤️

I want to raise a reader, not just a child who reads for school📚❤️

One thing I’ve noticed with my daughter is that she watches what I do.

When she sees me reading, she naturally becomes curious about my book. And that’s when I realised—maybe “monkey see, monkey do” really does work! 😂

I don’t think the answer is simply taking screens away. It’s about giving children something they genuinely want to choose instead.

So, if you’re also trying to build a reading habit in your child, start small.
Let them choose their books.
Read with them.
Create a little reading routine.
Keep books around.
And most importantly… let them see YOU reading❤️

Because children don’t just listen to what we say.
They watch what we do.

Save this for later if you’re raising a little reader📚✨

🇮🇳 Freedom is not just what we inherited. It’s what we choose to protect.

Today, as I celebrate Independence Day with my daughter, I’m reminded that patriotism is not only about holding the flag or singing the anthem.

It’s about the values we pass on.
It’s about raising children who are kind, responsible, fearless and proud of where they come from.
It’s about respecting the sacrifices that gave us our freedom—and using that freedom to build a better tomorrow❤️

As a mother, my biggest dream is to see my daughter grow up in an India where she feels safe to dream, free to speak, and brave enough to make a difference.

Because the India of tomorrow is being shaped by the children we raise today🇮🇳

Proud of our past. Responsible for our present. Hopeful for our future.

Happy Independence Day, India❤️🤍💚

It’s never about finding more time. It’s about making the time you have count🌻🤍

Being a working mom often comes with a little guilt. There are days when work takes over, and I wish I had a few more hours to spend with my daughter.

But over time, I’ve realized that children don’t always remember the big plans—they remember how we made them feel in the little moments.

So we’ve started creating our own little rituals.

🎬 A mommy-daughter movie date.

🌅 Skipping together on the terrace.

🍱 Packing her favorite tiffin and slipping in a tiny handwritten note.

❤️ Sitting together over a simple meal and talking about our day.

None of these take a lot of time, but they fill our hearts in the biggest way.

These little rituals help us reconnect, laugh, talk, and remind each other that no matter how busy life gets, we’ll always make space for us.

To every working parent who’s trying to balance it all—don’t wait for the perfect day or the perfect vacation. Sometimes, love is simply found in the ordinary moments we choose to make extraordinary.

What is one little ritual you share with your child? I’d love to hear it🌸

Day 2 in Rishikesh felt like living inside a postcard.

Slow mornings with mountain views, poolside peace, soulful vibes at Sai Ghat aarti, blessings at the 13-storied Trimbakeshwar Temple, and ending the day with dinner beside the Ganga✨️🌙🤍

Some places don’t just give memories… they heal something inside you.

✨ New Session, New Beginnings ✨

As schools reopen, it’s not just about new books and fresh uniforms… it’s about nurturing a mindset ready to grow 🌱

Here’s how we can gently prepare our children for a confident start:

📚 Reflect before you rush
Talk about the previous session — what they enjoyed, what they found difficult, and what made them proud. Reflection builds awareness.

🌟 Celebrate small wins
Every improvement matters. Confidence grows when children feel seen and appreciated.

🧠 Revise, don’t pressurize
A light revision of basics (reading, writing, concepts) helps them feel prepared — without overwhelming them.

🎯 Set simple, realistic goals
Instead of “be the best,” focus on “be consistent,” “be curious,” and “try your best.”

💬 Encourage open conversations
Let them express their feelings — excitement, nervousness, or even fear. Emotional readiness matters as much as academics.

🎒 Build routines gradually
Start adjusting sleep schedules, study time, and daily habits before school begins.

💛 Teach them this one thing:
It’s okay to not know everything. Learning is a journey, not a race.

This session, let’s raise learners — not just performers. 🌈

POV: You come back from vacation and your body says,
“Beta, ab reality check lo.” 🤒
Woke up feeling like I fought 100 villains in my sleep.
Thought it’s a period drama…
Turns out it’s viral fever – special appearance. 🎭
The doctor said meds.
Meds said “relief.” 💊
And the moment I felt 1% better…
@avyatheartist said, “Chalo grocery shopping.”
Miss ma’am bought sandals.
I bought a pretty suit.
Because priorities don’t take sick leave. 🛍️😂
Fever 0 – Shopping 1.
