She has pist*l and bike too 💪🏽

My 2026's first work....

Man, I had so much fun making this piece — the way it came together was honestly kinda cool.

I got inspired by all those badass girls who ride bikes everywhere. Seriously, huge respect to them. In our society where people judge so much and girls are 'not supposed' to do stuff like that… they still go out and ride anyway. That's real power. I salute them big time.

#desi #digitalart #womenpower #pakistaniart A highly detailed digital illustration by Pakistani artist Awais Shaukat depicts a young South Asian woman with long, flowing black hair in a ponytail, standing confidently beside a rugged motorcycle in a dramatic, moody setting.

She wears a vibrant traditional pink (or magenta) kurta-style tunic with golden trim, flowing loosely, paired with bright yellow shalwar pants, gold bangles on her wrists, large hoop earrings, and simple footwear. In her right hand, she grips a handgun, exuding a fierce, determined expression as she gazes sideways with a focused, intense look. Her hair whips dramatically in the wind.

The motorcycle (Atlas HONDA CG 125CC), parked or positioned behind her, appears weathered and adventurous—complete with handlebars, headlight, exhaust, saddlebags, and a visible license plate reading "ASE 4824"—set against a dark, atmospheric rocky landscape with jagged mountains, misty shadows, and glowing red-orange accents from implied fire, smoke, or dramatic lighting in the background, creating a cinematic, action-oriented vibe with high contrast, dynamic composition, and expressive linework.

The series shows the artwork's evolution: initial loose pencil sketches with rough hatching and dynamic poses, grayscale shaded studies emphasizing form and movement, and final vibrant colored versions with rich shadows, glowing highlights, and painterly digital rendering—showcasing the artist's process from concept sketch to polished illustration.

I just found this background I made back in 2024, so I decided to finally share it publicly.

It was looking a little too dry on its own, so I added a quick illustration of Aang from Avatar: The Last Airbender to bring it to life. 🌻

Created by a human. No AI.

#digitalart #animeart #noai A wide digital painting of a bright blue sky filled with soft, layered white clouds above a coastal landscape, with blue-green mountains and a densely detailed town stretching along the shoreline below. In the upper-right portion of the scene, Aang from Avatar: The Last Airbender is illustrated flying dynamically through the sky in his orange and brown Air Nomad outfit, with his bald head and blue arrow visible, his body angled forward as if moving quickly through the air, while motion blur around his hands, legs, clothing and surrounding areas suggests fast movement. The composition creates a strong sense of depth, with the expansive sky occupying most of the image, distant mountains fading into the atmospheric horizon, and the coastal settlement appearing small below. The water fills the lower-right and middle portions of the scene in soft shades of blue, reflecting the bright sky, while the mountains and city provide contrast and scale. The artwork combines a painterly background with a more defined hand-drawn animated character, creating the feeling of an animation background or cinematic concept art. The lower-left corner contains the artist signature “Awais Shaukat.” NO AI. Real digital art. Anime art by Pakistani artist, Awais Shaukat. by @awaishaukat

I made this short static music video just for a small test. All is done by hand, NO AI.

Music is "Bade Achche Lagte Hain" in the voice of legendary actor Irrfan Khan, written by Anand Bakshi.

dunya kisi kay piyaar main jannat say kam nahi 💔
Another quick work!! A warm, dimly lit interior scene painted in a moody, expressive digital art style by Pakistani artist Awais Shaukat for Valentine's Day 2026. In the foreground, a young woman sits cross-legged on the floor or a low bed, wearing a flowing dark green dupatta (headscarf) draped over her head and shoulders, partially covering her dark curly hair. She rests her chin thoughtfully on one hand, gazing with a mix of wonder, surprise, and slight apprehension at a glowing red object held toward her. Her expression is intimate and emotional, with soft facial shading emphasizing her cheek, lips, and wide eyes.

Opposite her, a middle-aged man with a prominent mustache sits on the edge of a bed or charpoy, wearing a simple white tank top (sleeveless vest) and trousers. He has a gentle, affectionate smile and slightly raised eyebrows, looking directly at the woman with warmth and perhaps playfulness. He holds out a stemmed, ornate red goblet or cup in his right hand, from which vivid crimson magical energy swirls outward in dynamic, ribbon-like trails and glowing loops—forming heart-like shapes and luminous arcs that float between them, symbolizing love, passion, or enchantment.

The setting appears to be a modest, dimly illuminated bedroom or traditional room in a South Asian home, with warm golden-orange lighting from an unseen source (possibly a lamp or window), casting deep shadows across rumpled bedding, pillows, and wooden furniture in the background. The overall color palette is rich in earthy greens, deep browns, and glowing reds, with painterly brush strokes, dramatic chiaroscuro lighting, and a dreamy, romantic atmosphere. Signed in the lower right corner as "Awais Shaukat".

This artwork evokes themes of intimate connection, surprise, and magical romance, created specifically for Valentine's Day, February 14 2026. by @awaishaukat

Here’s a small portrait study.

These are experimental digital pen-style sketches that done directly without rough drafts, using references from Pinterest.

And yes the 3rd slide is a portrait of @RamaDuwaji ✨ A dynamic composition featuring multiple figures in close proximity: at the center, a young woman with short bobbed hair and a serious expression, wearing an elaborate, large ornate necklace with gem-like elements and a feathered or scaled collar resembling wings; surrounding her are a bearded man in a patterned robe and headpiece with goggles-like accessory, another woman with longer wavy hair in profile, and a woman in a headscarf with a somber look. Bubbles and abstract shading fill the background. Portrait digital drawing by illustrator, painter, and animator, Awais Shaukat. by @awaishaukat

I don’t usually post my paintings, but here is one of my recent oil paintings I'm working on. It’s basically a work in progress and an experimental piece as part of my mini-thesis in Fine Arts. 🕊️

I started painting only last year and have learned and changed a lot since then.

I hope you’ll like it.
Thanks!! <3 A vibrant, expressive painting by Pakistani painter Awais Shaukat, depicting three pigeons in flight against a deep magenta background. The birds are formed with bold, textured brushstrokes in blues, greens, purples, and earthy tones, while energetic yellow sketch lines add motion and dynamism. taken in National College of Arts by @awaishaukat

PakistaniArt is officially live.

What started in 2020 as an Instagram page sharing digital illustrations from artists across Pakistan has grown into the country's first independent English-language art and pop culture publication.

We cover Pakistan's contemporary art scene, something no outlet has consistently tracked until now. But we don't stop at the border: international art news is part of our coverage too, so Pakistani artists get seen by readers around the world, and local readers stay connected to what's happening globally.

Visual art is our core focus, alongside film, music, design, architecture, and fashion — with criticism, interviews, and exhibition reviews throughout.

Open calls are live for artists, photographers, designers, and filmmakers across Pakistan to submit their work.

Still squashing a few bugs as we go; flag anything you spot. A print and digital magazine extension is coming too.

An official digital announcement graphic featuring a clean, off-white to light-grey background overlaid with faint, subtle line art of intricate, sweeping Islamic geometric patterns, including a crescent moon and a five-pointed star in the top left corner. The top section of the image features the word "ANNOUNCEMENT" in a small, vibrant purple sans-serif font set in all capital letters. Directly beneath this, the main headline is displayed in prominent, heavy black serif typography, spanning four lines that read: "PakistaniArt’s Official Publication Website is Live!!". Below the main headline, a call to action reads "VISIT VIA LINK IN BIO" in small, bright purple uppercase letters. Positioned at the very bottom left, directly under the call to action, is a small black icon depicting an ornate traditional vase or urn resting on a stylized pedestal. PakistaniArt is Pakistan's first independent digital art community and online magazine. Founded in 2023 by award-nominated painter and animator Awais Shaukat, the platform publishes reviews, features, interviews, and profiles covering art, film, music, fashion, and design. It operates globally to showcase domestic talent and the diaspora. by @awaishaukat

put a stroke. Awais Shaukat, a talented young painter and fine arts student, stands focused in his third-year painting studio at the National College of Arts (NCA) in Lahore, Pakistan. With his long hair tied back in a bun using a paintbrush as an impromptu hair tie, he wears a loose olive-green shirt and jeans while intently applying delicate brushstrokes to a canvas held in one hand. Surrounded by easels, stacked blank canvases, colorful paint tubes, and vibrant abstract artworks on the walls, the sunlit studio captures a moment of deep creative immersion in this historic art institution. After more than 24 hour painting spree, “Killer in Elevator” is finally done! Super into how the neon lights, graffiti, and fisheye effect came together to make this feel intense and cinematic.

The story: a gutsy girl steps out of the elevator, shotgun ready — you know there’s trouble brewing. Really wanted that freeze-frame, “what happens next?” vibe. Digital painting by Awais Shaukat showing a fearless girl armed with a shotgun, stepping out of a glowing, neon-lit elevator. The elevator is set inside a grungy, graffiti-covered hallway with metallic walls reflecting teal and red hues. The artwork features a bold character stance, dynamic lighting, and a cinematic fisheye perspective. by @awaishaukat
