A toy is never just a toy.
For a child, it can be a whole world, a piece of safety, a memory of home, a reason to smile.
Small Toys, Big Worlds is a journey through the quiet strength of Childhood, where imagination becomes refuge, and happiness survives even in the hardest places.

for giving us the youth the space to tell these stories and for believing in the power of creativity to turn experience into hope. by @awazzoom

"Freedom in Memories" is the name of my project, a journey into the hearts of refugees and their understanding of freedom. For many, they were free before the war, but now that everything has been taken, the only place they can feel that freedom again is in their memories. These memories hold the last traces of the people they loved and the homes that once gave them warmth.

In these memories, their freedom lives on, untouched by the harshness of the present. Memory becomes their sanctuary, a space where time stands still, where they can reconnect with moments and Habits that made them feel alive and whole, and where joy can still exist even amid sorrow.

As students at @ lensonlifeproject under @ nigsalam, we each created projects with stories to tell. Mine shared the lives of thousands displaced by the Syrian war. On 2/10/23, seeing our work displayed in a small exhibition was a huge success. Grateful to God & ourselves for not giving up. by @awazzoom
