Finding brand deals as a UGC creator in the UAE can feel overwhelming when you’re just starting. There are so many platforms out there, but not all of them work the same way!! That’s why I’m sharing my personal experience with some of the platforms I’ve used, including: - Stllr - Expin - Alist - Insense - Upwork - Bambassadors - Swavy - Spark Social Home UAE These are my honest thoughts based on my own experience. I get asked this a lot… and honestly, it’s not about the camera, it’s about a few small things you do before filming and before posting that change everything. Before filming: – Make sure you’re shooting in 4K at 60fps – Turn on enhanced stabilization – Use grid + level (it helps your framing more than you think) – Clean your lens – Film next to natural light whenever you can – And if the lighting isn’t great (especially here in Dubai), a simple clip-on light makes a big difference Before posting: – If you’re editing on CapCut, turn OFF the AI export feature – Export in 1080 (not 4K) to avoid compression issues – On Instagram, make sure “upload at highest quality” is turned on None of this is complicated… but together, it’s what makes your videos look clean and polished without overdoing it. If you’re looking for a simple way to make your hooks more engaging, try this one!! Here’s how to recreate it in Edits: 1. Record a clip of yourself tapping the mic. 2. Import it into a new project on Edits. 3. Add your text one word (or phrase) at a time. 4. Place each text just before the tap starts. 5. Add your first keyframe and position the text on the mic. ➡️ Move forward to right after the tap, add a second keyframe, and reposition the text so it pops into place. 🔁 Repeat for each text element. This is one of those conversations I think we need to have 🤍 I know UGC can be confusing, especially with every creator offering different packages, deliverables, experience levels, and rates. But if you’re a brand looking to work with creators, here’s one thing I’d love to see happen more often: Start with a conversation, not a number!! Instead of asking: “Can you create X videos for $X?” Try asking: 💌 Tell me about your rates. 💌 Can I see your portfolio? 💌 Here’s our campaign; how would you approach it? That gives creators the chance to understand your goals, recommend the right deliverables, and quote based on the actual scope of work. So... Creators, do you agree?
