The new album from @el.leonpardo, Viaje Sideral, is a cosmic voyage into the unknown: where ancient Zenú flutes meet analog synths, Caribbean percussion, and cosmic vibrations.

This is music for dancing, dreaming, and discovering. 🪐

Across nine tracks, El León Pardo continues to carve out a sound entirely his own, paying tribute to the tropical psychedelia of the Caribbean in the 1970s and 80s while pushing the boundaries of tradition.

🌀 Featuring collaborations with @edson.velandia, @n.hardem and @frentecumbiero

Order your copy now and let the journey begin 🌠

@humazapas features on “Adiós,” from @el_buho_music’s new album Hogar, alongside @lamafiandina 🌾

The track tells the story of movement, environment, politics and migration, all interconnected.

Built around a sample of “Adiós Mamita” by @humazapas, a song about rites of passage and leaving home, the track also brings in fellow Ecuador-based Kichwa rapper @lamafiandina. A cross-border collaboration that marries traditional Ecuadorian music, the Kichwa hip-hop scene, and @el_buho_music’s deft electronic production.

Mafiandina’s vocals were even recorded inside Humazapas director @jesus_atzil ANTA studio, in the Turuku community of Cotacachi.

The track and full album are available on all streaming platforms. Listen now. 🌵

Is this the mixtape of the year? 🎧
Comment MADERA and we’ll send you the link.

The marimba has traveled across continents for over a thousand years: from the balafons of West Africa to the marimbas of Colombia, from the bamboo ensembles of Bali to the txalaparta of the Basque Country.

@captain.planet.music dug through 20+ countries of music to honor that journey. 33 tracks.

Featuring @sonrompepera, @nuevosrios, @allencodrum , @oumou.sang, @Ghetto_kumbe @chichimarimba_oficial @anatijoux @semblanzasdelrioguapi & more.
