@humazapas features on “Adiós,” from @el_buho_music’s new album Hogar, alongside @lamafiandina 🌾

The track tells the story of movement, environment, politics and migration, all interconnected.

Built around a sample of “Adiós Mamita” by @humazapas, a song about rites of passage and leaving home, the track also brings in fellow Ecuador-based Kichwa rapper @lamafiandina. A cross-border collaboration that marries traditional Ecuadorian music, the Kichwa hip-hop scene, and @el_buho_music’s deft electronic production.

Mafiandina’s vocals were even recorded inside Humazapas director @jesus_atzil ANTA studio, in the Turuku community of Cotacachi.

The track and full album are available on all streaming platforms. Listen now. 🌵

From the marimba to the streets, this rhythm is unmatched. Obsessed with @sonrompepera 💃⚡️
The Cenzontle is Mexico’s legendary mockingbird, the “bird of four hundred voices” because it mimics sounds—much like us dancers moving to the beat! 🦅🎶
🎶 Shoutout to @zzkrecords & @ayarecords for bringing this music to the world! / ¡Gracias por llevar esta música a todo el mundo! 🌍❤️‍🔥

Featuring @sonrompepera, @nuevosrios, @allencodrum , @oumou.sang, @Ghetto_kumbe @chichimarimba_oficial @anatijoux @semblanzasdelrioguapi & more.
