MEET AYISHA ONUORAH
We are delighted to welcome @ayishaayishaa as one of our guest speakers at the Africa Design Week Mixer, October 10th.
Ayisha will join our panel, ‘Black Creativity, Now’, exploring the voices, ideas and perspectives shaping Black creativity and design today.
Ayisha is an award-winning multidisciplinary designer working across interiors, surface design and broadcasting. Named @homesandgardensofficial Next in Design 2026, she is becoming an increasingly recognisable face through appearances on @bbc One and @channel4 design shows, alongside her growing social media presence and contributions to design publications.
Shaped by her British-Nigerian identity and the influences of family, diaspora and multicultural life, Ayisha’s work explores inclusive design, colour and how our surroundings affect the way we feel. Her approach is bold, expressive and deeply personal, with a strong use of pattern and cultural references.

We are looking forward to welcoming Ayisha and hearing her perspective as part of the conversations shaping our first ADW Mixer.
