⚕️The Top floor is our volunteer dormitory, and it’s almost ready for you. Your safety and well being is our #1 concern the dormitory reduce commutes is crossing the Ts, we’re sitting the I’s ❤️

We want to reduce the amount of meat they eat. A healthy diet is the goal

🙏🏾Thank you all for your donations.

🤗We’ve raised $320 the month May , just shy of our $500 monthly goal, but it’s never too little, never too small.

🏋🏾‍♀️We stretch your dollar to make it happen no excuses. 70% of each donation is directed to Haiti, the remaining 30% stays in the U.S to fund our nutrition program for homeless teenagers and students in the Atlanta area.

😁We’ve been able to faithfully sponsor 2 bags of rice each month for the Dondon canteen (large meal) and send the balance to the hospital’s Vaccination & Nutrition program in Cité Soleil .

Surpassing our $500/month goal would allow us to provide a bag of to a school near the hospital , and a bag of rice for the @ayit1foundation ‘s Guns down , Gloves up boxing program in Cité Soleil .

3/17/2021 The babies are coming in for meal time.

We had to make sure the staff in Haiti understand that although the goal is to provide 50 meals per day, we must Stick to the daily 25 A-B-A-B format and scale over time.

🥺❤️The children are slowly but surely understanding the Cantine will not end, and especially without prior notification. The reflex to flood the meal room even on their off day is slowly going away. The tendency to push your way through for a chance is dissipating. 👏🏾

🥰The babies KNOW for CERTAIN one of 25 plates that day is theirs.
We are sooo proud to support this work.

Properly functioning equipment is one of our greatest challenges. Due to lack of funding we order from eBay meaning the quality is hit or miss.

From hospitals beds, surgical equipment to laboratory equipment it’s almost always purchased from EBay, then a few months/weeks later the staff is left to their ingenuity to get the machines to work.

The video shows the Lab intern spinning the machine by hand in order for the weakened motor to be able to pick up the job and continue.

Please think of us in Cité Soleil if you’re aware of any equipment updating happening at our facility, or the medical facility of someone you know.

If we get the lab results wrong , it’s more than likely could cost the patient much more than their health. Protecting the integrity of the specimens collected is very important to us.

Some companies have planned giving meetings annually, think of us if you hear f any equipment or materials they plan on discarding as they upgrade and update.

It takes each of us to make a difference for all us. #ayit1foundation by @ayit1foundation
