Bachata: frame speaks for your body 🤝

@ayjbachata

Many dancers think leading only happens through grip strength, but the real signal travels through dynamic tension in your frame. The frame transmits center of mass information without extra physical contact, and that tension controls whether your partner's body texture feels soft or stiff. Keep your frame alive, not rigid, so the coordinated position actually communicates.

Save this and practice holding dynamic tension through your frame while standing still, feeling how small shifts change your center of mass.

Follow @bsolatindance.academy for weekly Bachata technique breakdowns.

🦋 ASHEVILLE — BSO INFINITY EXPERIENCE STARTS TONIGHT! 🚀

If you’ve been wondering “What exactly IS the Infinity Experience?” — this is a BACHATA TRAINING EXPERIENCE + WEEKENDER, taught the BSO way. 💃🔥

For the first time ever, BSO Latin Dance is bringing our progressive bachata training experience outside of Florida and into Asheville.

Whether you’re building your foundation or already an experienced dancer, this weekend is designed to help you become a stronger, more complete dancer through the techniques and training methods we use at BSO.

🔥 Bachata Foundations
🔥 Sensual Bachata
🔥 Partnerwork & Connection
🔥 Body Movement & Technique
🔥 Footwork & Musicality
🔥 Fusion & Advanced Concepts
🔥 Social Dance Application
🔥 Performance Challenges
🔥 Hours of Bachata Social Dancing

At BSO, we don’t believe in just collecting patterns.

We train dancers progressively — building the foundation, technique, body control, connection, musicality and movement vocabulary that allow you to understand your dancing and actually USE what you learn on the social floor.

You’ll experience the same BSO methodology we teach through our progressive programs in Orlando and through our trainings internationally — from the foundations of bachata all the way into sensual bachata, fusion, musicality and advanced movement.

But of course… we’re doing it the BSO way. 👽🚀

Expect bachata inside a completely different universe: electronic and fusion sounds, galactic visuals, themed parties, creative challenges, incredible dancers and an immersive atmosphere unlike a traditional bachata weekender.

This weekend’s experience is:

🦋 METAMORPHOSIS — Transform Your Dance Journey

✨ THURSDAY — INFINITY NIGHT
🌌 FRIDAY — ENTER THE GALAXY
🦋 SATURDAY — BUTTERFLY BALL

Come to learn bachata.
Come to train your technique.
Come to social dance.
Come to challenge yourself.
Come experience what BSO is all about.

COLORES 🩷💛🩵

Is it a coincidence or alignment that we wore our brightest colors and chose the song COLORES in Miami? ✨

I’m starting to believe there are no coincidences - just little reminders that we’re exactly where we’re meant to be.

Trust your path. Trust your intuition. Trust the alignment. 💜♾️

BACHATA GAME CHALLENGE 🔥

We gave our students the tools… and then challenged THEM to create the choreography. Which means - YES - we had to learn it in the spot too!

4 counts at a time. No idea what the final song would be. And just 20 minutes to put it all together + record it. 👀

Because strong dancing starts with strong basics. When you understand your foundations, you can create, adapt, lead & follow with confidence — instead of just memorizing patterns.

Here’s what we created together in Miami. 🕺💃
