Following a call that seems to be true, while the world around you tries to lure you back to the idea of safety you’ve grown used to.

But no matter how hard they fight to make you stay,
your restlessness makes you so much stronger than them.

So you follow these voices from outside. The voices that keep calling you.

And finally! You’ve reached them.
You followed their calls, running so desperately from everything else, they were everything you ever wanted.

And now? Do you feel whole? Is this the place you’ve been searching for?

Suddenly, there’s no air to breathe, no space to grow, no freedom achieved.
This is the moment you realize, again, like before you’ve just been following voices outside yourself. Not once did you stop to think about the only voice that truly matters.

Your own.

Here’s a fun slideshow from my trip to Birmingham!🧚✨
I’ve realized this account became only about dance dance dance, so I’m bringing back some life life life.

This time I went to #birminghammuseumandartgallery and their pre-raphaelite collection of paintings took my breath away. (Mainly their (quite .. expressive) faces) so I took some pictures and funnily they correlate with some moments I’ve captured in the city. So here goes a little gallery of Birmingham moments 🌝

1: no pre-raphaelite. Just @lola.pietri sneezing. But pretty 💐

2: Funky heel heaven at @redbrickmarket_birmingham

3:
Morgan le Fay, 1864
oil paint on wood panel - Frederick Sandys

#birminghammuseumandartgallery

4: same hair, but it’s me!
@the_library_of_birmingham

5:
The Blind Girl, 1854-56
Oil on canvas - John Everett Millais

#birminghammuseumandartgallery

6: more bits of blue sky

7:
La Donna della Finestra, 1881
Oil paint on canvas with chalk and graphite - Dante Gabriel Rosetti

#birminghammuseumandartgallery

8: another donna with another finestra and curly hair

9: beautiful street + face

10:
I forgot the name and didn’t want to use Ai to find out, so let’s just appreciate that she’s a twin of my friend lola 😙
#birminghammuseumandartgallery

11: someone died and I didn’t find the title. Again 🧎‍♀️

a moment of @doly.shmoly @mooveinheels
+ all the tears we shed in this room ❤️‍🩹

Thank you Doly, for gifting us with the memory of dancing in a room full with love for this art form. No matter where I looked (through the tears) all I could see was people fighting for their dreams, deeply connected to their love for dance.

Will you still love me tomorrow?
Will dance still be there tomorrow? Can I always go back to it? Will it always feel so beautiful?
Truth is, I don’t know what will be tomorrow. And that makes today even more bitter sweet. I want to be fully alive every second that I get to dance, take it all in. Because it is the greatest gift of my body to allow me to move in it.

So, thank you for reminding me about that. ✨

PATTERNS - @itschelan @nnavymusic

recently, life didn’t feel right to me. I questioned a lot and due to illness had to take a break from dance for a bit. Even more reflecting followed.. when you question your whole existence, there’s always this moment where I go:
Why am I doing this all? I have found my goals and dreams but I don’t feel like I’m getting any closer (yes, I’m impatient) cue: frustration, bc being sick doesn’t make it easier to follow these…

Then I listened to this song and it resonated with me deeply. I’m also caught in patterns that make it hard to escape. Behaviors I’ve trained over years and years that I keep coming back to, hopelessly.

And this not an excuse. I don’t want to give away responsibility and blame some bad behaviors for feeling stuck.

Choreographing to this song is my way of seeing and expressing this feeling. And in doing so I’m actually breaking a first pattern: Not choreographing, because …

- song interpretation end -
- cue: love & deep appreciation for the person dancing this with me -

@na_saw9696
Because it is so hard to break out of some patterns, all help is deeply appreciated. And you were that person that gave me just enough of a push. Besides being an insanely inspiring friend of course 💐
So, thank you deeply.

“Was siehst du” von @aleynassongs wurde vor einer Woche released und es ist Zeit für einen kleinen recap Post! ✨☺️ (beautiful BTS pics by @leonie._gk )

I’va already poured out my soul in the cute Thank You note on the last slide, so all the people know how much I appreciate them for creating this music video with me! Ganz viel endlose Umarmungen an euch. 🧚‍♀️🫂✨

Nur dein Blick in dich selbst zählt, dort findest du was du tief drinnen bereits weißt.
Wie schön du bist.

Das Musikvideo findet ihr bei Youtube unter „was siehst du“ bei @aleynassongs oder im Link in meiner Bio ✨
