★★★★ 1/2 “A monumental event in the large ensemble realm ... Ayn Inserto captures the beautifully complex and soulful essence of the celebrated trumpeter-educator Sean Jones on this spectacular new recording made in collaboration with Germany’s renowned WDR Big Band.” – Ed Enright, DownBeat

★★★★ “The album shows that music can be sharp without becoming brittle, and complicated without losing its emotional centre. The jagged edges give the elegant lines something to push against, and the lines keep the edges from becoming mere effects.” - Andrey Henkin, JazzTimes

Wow! I was so lucky to be able to see Sara Bareilles in concert last Thursday. But also got to see my long-time friend Derrek C Phillips knock it out of park on drums, along with all the superstars on stage. And we got to meet Sara! Her music is honest, beautiful and the performance was so touching and moving, and also with humor and empowerment. This was life-changing. by @ayninserto
