Composer @ayninserto is one of today’s most creative, powerful big band voices. Just listen to Jagged Edges & Elegant Lines, her new album with the great WDR Big Band out tomorrow, August 7 via Summit Records. The stellar recording showcases selections from the Inserto songbook as well as a masterful new four-part suite commissioned by WDR, written for and featuring the luminous Sean Jones @seanyboymusic. Thrilling jazz, knockout performances. #bigband #jazzorchestra

John Fedchock and Jennifer Wharton at the Berklee Jazz Composition Festival 📸 🎶 We had the privilege of hosting these two modern legends of the trombone at this years Festival. They hosted an insightful masterclass on all things trombone and professional music, and graced the stage for a swinging set with the JCWO! This appearance of XO Artist Jennifer Wharton has been made possible, in part, through an educational grant from the KHS America Academic Alliance and XO Brass. Jennifer performs exclusively on XO Brass trombones.

Adjudicated jazz combos today at the MAJE festival near Boston with Ayn Inserto (Berklee) and Jeff Holmes (UMass), who remains mysteriously camera-resistant. Great young musicians. #jazzeducation #MAJE #jazzcombos

Happy representing @XOBrass while chatting and playing with the Jazz Composers Workshop at Berklee College of Music. It’s rare that @johnfedchockofficial and I get to do these things together. To do so twice in a week is pretty special. Thanks to @ayninserto, @georgewrusselljr and @berkleecollege for having us. #music #musiceducation #xobrass #trombone #basstrombone #composition #jazz
