African food was never the problem.

At AYKO, we are committed to supporting African talent, and creative entrepreneur, creating platforms that expand their reach and introduce their work to new audiences.

That is why we are proud to be working with @gbemigiwa , an established fitness and nutrition coach, wellness entrepreneur and founder, to bring Unlearn The Diet: London — The African Food Edition to London.

Gbemi will lead a dedicated session exploring African food, sustainable fat loss and women’s health in real life. She will then be joined by a panel bringing together perspectives across medicine, hormones, movement and fitness, followed by a live audience Q&A.

I’m will be moderating the panel conversation on the day. These are conversations many of us are already having privately about our food, health and changing bodies and it feels important to create a space where we can explore them properly.

Following the AYKO Agency × Getty Images Masterclass, our co-founders @ayoola and @koyaonagoruwa sat down to answer a few questions about the process of executing the day and what this opportunity means for creatives.

Working with Getty Images, one of the world’s leading visual platforms, marks an important step in our continued commitment to opening global pathways for underrepresented talent.

The masterclass was the first step — introducing photographers, videographers and visual creatives to how the Getty Images contributor ecosystem works and what it takes to build within it.

Now the next stage begins.
