CALLING ON OUR INDIGENOUS COMMUNITY

I’m exploring the possibility of hosting a gathering here in Fort Worth to welcome our buffalo relatives back to their ancestral lands.

The vision is to bring our people together through ceremony, songs, storytelling, traditional games, Indigenous arts and crafts, food, and community. A space to reconnect with our roots, honor our relatives, and pass our traditions on to future generations.

I’m looking to connect with local Indigenous artists, vendors, cultural practitioners, dancers, singers, knowledge keepers, and community organizations interested in participating or collaborating.

The goal is to create something meaningful for our people, support Indigenous organizations, and give back to the land and the buffalo.

If you're Indigenous and interested in being part of this vision, reach out! Whether you have crafts to share, cultural knowledge to offer, or simply want to help bring our community together, I'd love to connect.

This is in the early planning stages, and we're looking to build it together.

Restore. Rebuild. Reconnect.

INDIGENOUS PEOPLES DAY BARRIO RUN

Monday, October 12, 2026
6:30 PM
Starting at Dallas City Hall, TX

For years, this time and space has been shared with our relatives from Mitotiliztli Yaoyollohtli Aztec Danza. This year, we’re extending the hand and opening the invitation to the rest of our community.

Come run, jog, walk, connect, and move together.

No competition. No judgment. Just community, movement, culture, and good energy.

Bring a friend. Bring your family. Bring your people.

We move together. We grow together.
