Tonight! Lesson 3 of the introduction of Maya writing workshop.

In the following slides you can see examples of how participants have learned how to write their name and/or city in the Maya Writing system.

Reminder: This course is open exclusively to individuals with Indigenous, Mexican, Central American, Caribbean, or other Mesoamerican roots.

This is offered at a pay-what-you-can basis. Venmo: @solidarityguate. We value any contribution, as the funds will be utilized for further research and studies. You have the option to pay for each lesson or all six lessons simultaneously. This approach also provides access to the recordings of each lesson. If You did not register we have space for about 10 more people. You can donate to the Venmo, send screenshot and we will send you the recording of the first,second episode and you will be added to the mailing list.

Yesterday was truly special ✨

We had the beautiful opportunity to share with our friends from @ayotochtli.essential during their celebration of the Spring Equinox 🌸—a meaningful tradition observed on March 20.

Thanks to the @dallasculture , we came together to experience something powerful: learning from one another, celebrating Mexican culture, and sharing a piece of Colombia with the community 🇲🇽🤝🇨🇴

These moments—where cultures connect, traditions are honored, and stories are shared—are what inspire everything we do. Being able to bring our culture to life and exchange it with others across Dallas-Fort Worth is truly one of the most beautiful parts of our mission ❤️

Release & Restore: Men’s Fascia & Rest Wellness Event

Men—when’s the last time you truly felt your body and mind unwind?

Join us March 30th for a powerful collaboration between Functional Patterns Practitioner Mark Trejo and Reiki Master/Teacher Ray Arriola. This event is designed specifically for men to decompress, reconnect, and restore.

What to expect:
- Myofascial Release (MFR)led by Mark Trejo — to unwind tight tissue, improve posture, and release stored tension.
- Guided Breath work/energetic release by Ray Arriola — helping you regulate your nervous system, clear mental fog, and ground yourself during & after.

It’s one full hour dedicated to your body’s structure and your mind’s clarity. Afterwards there will be time to gather to get to know one another as we build a community of men that desire to learn, grow & share with each other.
