getting to be apart of this project was empowering and inspiring. biologically i am hispanic, but i was adopted into a completely different culture and i was not able to express and embrace that part of myself. not that anyone was holding me back, but i just didn’t know where to start and i was insecure that i would not be accepted if i tried. as i’ve gotten older i’ve been able to learn more and embrace who i am fully and i love myself and i love the culture i was born with. may this be a reminder to myself and anyone else who needs it. love yourself and don’t be afraid to learn more about yourself. honor your ancestors and respect your culture. if you’re not sure where to start, there is always a group of people who will welcome you with open arms. 🤎🇲🇽 taken in 45th Parallel Building by @azullaartista

Warning- Non-wine content: 😊

What a treat. I spent the day with @azullaartista to start on a project that I have been wanting for several years. Worried about my existing tattoo, I drug my feet. I think that it was just timing from the universe. Because she was the right artist for this.

There were some spicey parts but she talked me thru them. She listened which was so important to me… it’s on my body forever.

We talked about all the things….🍷, 🐓, 🐶 and being business owners! It was a wonderful experience.

Part 1 done… 😊

I love how it turned out. Can’t wait to do the other side! Thank you Azure! by @azullaartista
