Crescent City Bridge Run 6K 26’ 🏃🏼‍♀️

Proud to represent @manningchildrens, Louisianas #1 hospital for our kids 🫂🩵

This month, the Crescent City Connection bridge is lit up red in honor of sickle cell awareness month. Sickle Cell disease is an inherited blood disorder affecting hemoglobin that can cause chronic anemia, painful vaso-occlusive crises, and serious complications throughout the body.

Working at Manning Family Children’s has given me an even bigger appreciation for the people living with this disease. We get to care for some pretty incredible sickle cell warrior kiddos, and I’m proud to play a critical role in their care and be apart of the LCMC family.

Also, the humidity and heat were insane…but I cannot wait to run this again next year! It was definitely a staple added to my list of things I love about this City. 🌙

Thank you to @lcmchealth!
