This is Stephen Brickman. He served on WB-50s in the late 1960s as a radio operator with the 54th Weather Reconnaissance Squadron. He logged more than 1,000 hours as a typhoon hunter and weather reconnaissance crew member. This is Mike Sparh. His father, Sgt. Joseph Sparh, was a B-29 radio operator during World War II and served as a trainer for the USAAC. Mike visited us Thursday in Wilmington and brought his father's B-29 horn button, which he wanted to donate to carry on his father's legacy. He's pictured here sitting in his father's seat on B-29 DOC. by @b29docsfriends

This is Patty Hilko. Patty's father, Clarence Lewis, served as a B-29 mechanic on Okinawa during the Korean War. Meet Cheryl Wilder Hance and her sister, Nancy Wilder Mitchell. Their father, Horace Wilder, served as a B-29 bombardier. In 1943, Horace transferred to Walker Army Air Field in Victoria, Kansas, to train as a B-29 bombardier. He was assigned to the 771st Bomb Squadron, 462nd Bomb Group. He arrived on Tinian Island on May 10, 1944. Horace received a Distinguished Flying Cross for his service. It was an honor to meet Cheryl and Nancy in Cleveland and give them the chance to see the type of airplane their father flew during World War II. 📷: @brettphoto by @b29docsfriends

Meet Tim Case. While stationed at NAWS China Lake from 1995-1998, Tim was one of the original volunteers who helped Tony Mazzolini rescue DOC from the bombing range. The team eventually moved DOC to Inyokern Airport, and Tim was a key member of the team that coordinated the move. It was an honor to meet Tim and have him join us for DOC flight in Cleveland, OH. 📷: @brettphoto by @b29docsfriends
