There’s something about watching your friends make something magical happen. Rachel and I caught the @rockyhorrorwichita dress rehearsal at the B-29 Doc hangar, and wow. Huge love to @brentmcnulty and the @dpgwichita and @wichitaeventrentals team, @thatsmeimjoseph, and @crickmancreative behind the camera. Opening night is tonight, and code SPOOKYSIPSQUAD gets you 50% off Tier 1 and Tier 2 tickets. ✨Link in bio!

I recently treated myself to a flight in B-29 Superfortress @b29docsfriends and it was fantastic! While it might be a squeeze that risks your trousers, it provides an incredible insight into the aviation history that you just cannot get from reading books alone.

Subscribe for weekly aviation history content, and comment below if you have ever had the chance to tour a B-29.

Boeing B-29 Superfortress “Doc” (44-69972). Nearly 81 years in flight for this bird. Such an amazing piece of history.

It was a showdown for the ages. Teams brought their best to see who could record the fastest time in pulling a WWII plane across the finish line. This event was SPECTACULAR and I was honored to be a part of it.

So many people coming together and raise some funds for B-29 Doc and WSU Tech.

The competition was stiff. And new records were set. Can’t wait to run it back next year.
