In the new issue of @door_repubblica, dedicated to the theme One of a Kind, @b_arch_ is featured with Nomade, an extensive editorial dedicated to a house-atelier in Florence.

Conceived as a fluid and evolving space, the project blurs the boundaries between home and workplace, allowing architecture to respond to changing functions, collections and ways of living. Materials, custom-made elements and movable volumes become part of a narrative shaped by transformation rather than permanence.

A significant editorial feature that brings @b_arch_’s distinctive approach to architecture to the pages of Door, highlighting a design language rooted in material experimentation, adaptability and the identity of those who inhabit the space.

The project ‘Scion Scion’ awarded in the Cantori Design Challenge 2026, draws inspiration from Ennio Morricone’s compositional method: starting from a minimal intuition and developing it to construct a complex universe without losing its original identity. The project takes the circle as its generative form and multiplies it along the axis of the yacht, transforming it into furnishings and relationships. Each space thus becomes a variation on the same principle, as part of a coherent yet never uniform planetary system.
With shared spaces, an open-plan kitchen and a room dedicated to analogue listening, Scion Scion interprets the Flexplorer as a place to live in and move through, suspended between physical travel and an inner dimension. Thanks to @cantori_spa @cantieredellemarche and @conseil_relazioni_pubbliche for giving us the opportunity to engage with such a fascinating and challenging field as yacht design. by @b_arch_

The Lighthouse has been so much more than a project.
It has been passion, creative energy and collaboration. Days and nights filled with sketches, endless drawings, countless video calls, decisions, doubts, breakthroughs, smiles, and big hugs.

b-arch studio will challenge itself with the chosen theme for the second edition of the Cantori Design Challenge, a contest created by Cantori in collaboration with Cantiere delle Marche. Founded in Florence in 2000 by Sabrina Bignami and Alessandro Capellaro, b-arch stands out for a design approach that combines architecture, interior design, craftsmanship and material research, with great attention to detail and bespoke elements.
Each project stems from a dialogue between people, places and materials, giving rise to contemporary, authentic spaces designed to last over time.

In the rural landscape of Montemurlo, on the outskirts of Prato, b-arch transforms a 19th-century farmhouse into a system of distributed hospitality. I Vivai al Parugiano integrates hotel, restaurant, spa, and landscape into a contemporary micro-village where architecture and nature are in continuous dialogue.
The project reinterprets traditional Tuscan materials—stone, brick, and iron—through an essential and contemporary language. An iconic element of the intervention is the corten helical staircase that connects the hall to the wine cellar. An inhabitable sculpture, it transforms a simple vertical connection into a spatial experience. The illuminated handrail guides the descent, highlighting the chromatic depth of the oxidized metal.
The staircase thus becomes a narrative moment, marking the transition between hospitality and tasting. A project that interprets Tuscan rural memory through light, material, and landscape.
