Little is much when God is in it!

I'm grateful for my life thus far, for being alive and well till date, my immediate family, seen and unseen blessings and all my #instafam and friends.

I am grateful for April and the remaining months of this year because each day in them will be fantastic! 🙏

I've got every reason to give God Praise!

There's a particular kind of frustration that comes from trying your best and still not seeing the results you hoped for.

You show up, put in the work, try again many times, and yet, things remain almost the same.

And after a while, you begin to question yourself.

“Am I even good enough?”
“Is this really going to work for me?”
“Should I just give up?”

But before you make a permanent decision out of temporary frustration, pause for a moment.

Maybe you don't need to abandon the dream. You might just need to examine the approach.

Maybe you need to learn something new, ask a different question, seek honest feedback, or give yourself permission to try another route.

Persistence matters, but repeating the same thing without reflection can keep you stuck.

Sometimes, progress begins when you stop asking, “Why isn't this working?” and start asking, “What can I learn from what's happening?”

You don't have to have everything figured out today.

Take a deep breath, look again, and make the adjustment you can.

Then, keep moving with greater understanding.

A difficult season doesn't automatically mean you're on the wrong path. But it may be inviting you to find a better way forward.

Keep going, and stay willing to learn. ✌️❤

She thought lowering her price would make clients say YES. But she was wrong.

When Loretta started offering her services, she believed one thing: “If people aren't buying, my prices must be too high.”

So she reduced them.

Still, enquiries came and went without turning into sales.

She reduced them again.

Yet nothing changed.

Then, during a conversation with a potential client, she heard something she hadn't expected.

“I can see that you know what you're doing,” the client said. “But I still don't understand why I need this service right now.”

That was the moment Loretta began to question her assumption.

Perhaps the problem wasn't her price and was only explaining what she offered without helping people understand why it mattered to them.

She had been trying to make the decision cheaper instead of making the value clearer.

That realisation changed how she communicated her services from that moment.

Sometimes, the problem is not the answer you've chosen. It's the assumption that made you choose it.

Now, this is a storytelling technique worth trying:

Don't tell your audience only what you know now.

Show them what you believed before, what challenged that belief, and what you understand differently today.

That shift is where the story becomes interesting.

Tade, a young professional, spent months improving a skill nobody at work seemed to notice.

All along, she didn't get promoted and had no exciting opportunity.

Meanwhile, Linda, a colleague and friend with not much experience, was getting noticed and constantly praised.

At some point, Tade began to wonder whether all her effort was even worth it.

But she kept practising, studying, refining her work, and learning to communicate her ideas better.

Then, one day, an important project came up.

The team needed someone who could solve a problem that had been slowing everyone down.

Tade had spent months learning exactly what the situation required.

When the opportunity came, she didn't need to scramble to become capable.

She was ready!

Her preparation had been invisible to everyone, but it was never useless.

Now listen:

You, being overlooked today, doesn't automatically mean you're becoming better. But because you're not recognised doesn't mean your growth is not real, either.

Just make sure your quiet season is actually producing something.

👉🏾 Build the skill.
👉🏾 Improve the process.
👉🏾 Strengthen the judgement.
👉🏾 Learn to communicate your value better.

Don't just wait for someone to notice you.

But become so prepared that when the right opportunity arrives, you're ready to meet it.

A farmer plants some seed, and for days, the ground looks unchanged.

There were no leaves, no branches, and nothing to show for the effort.

Someone passing by might assume the farmer wasted the seeds.

But beneath the surface, something is happening.

Roots are forming.

The seed is responding to its environment.

The foundation of what will eventually emerge is developing where nobody can see it.

Our lives have seasons like that, too.

You're learning a skill nobody has noticed yet.

You're rebuilding after a setback.

You're practising something you still struggle to do well.

You're making decisions that won't produce immediate results.

And because there's little evidence of progress, you begin to question whether your efforts matter.

But visible results are not the only evidence of growth.

Sometimes, you're developing the very capacity you'll need when the opportunity arrives.

That doesn't mean every plan will succeed simply because you waited. Seeds need the right conditions, and growth requires care.

So, if you're in an invisible season right now, don't mistake silence for stagnation.

👉🏾Keep learning.
👉🏾Make adjustments where necessary.
👉🏾Keep doing the work required.

Just because your progress is not visible to everyone doesn't mean you should stop investing in it.

Give your effort direction, give your plans attention, and give yourself permission to grow before the results become obvious.

When was the last time you really put yourself in someone else's shoes?

Most of us are so caught up in our own world; our problems, goals, responsibilities, and struggles, that we rarely stop to think about what someone else might be going through.

But imagine this for a moment.

What if you walked in their shoes?

What if you saw the world through their eyes?

You'd probably judge less.

You would understand more.

And you'd be quicker to help.

EMPATHY is not just about being polite or kind. It's about pausing long enough to ask yourself:

"What would I want if I were them?"

Everyone is fighting a battle we know nothing about.

That coworker who seems distant.

That friend who hasn't called back.

That neighbour who suddenly became withdrawn.

People often carry burdens we can't see.

When we take the time to care, listen, and understand, we don't just make their lives better but we become better people too.

So today:

Don't just look... See.

Don't just hear... Listen.

It might make all the difference.

Dora had always wanted to start sharing her knowledge online, but she had reasons to wait.

She needed better equipment, wanted to improve her writing, and needed to learn a little more.

"And besides, who would listen to me when there were people with more experience?"she thought.

So she waited until she felt ready.

Months passed.

One day, she came across a post from Cynthia, someone who had started sharing her knowledge around the same time she first considered it.

Cynthia wasn't necessarily more qualified and hadn't started with better equipment.

She simply started.

Now, people were learning from her content, asking questions in the comment sections and recommending her work.

Dora had not lost her knowledge while waiting.

But she had lost time she could have spent putting that knowledge to use.

This is what we sometimes forget:

👉🏻You can spend so much time preparing to begin, and that preparation becomes the reason you never do.👈

You don't need to know everything before you take the first step.

You don't need to be the best in the room before you contribute something valuable.

And you don't need everyone's approval before you try.

👉🏾Learn as you go.
👉🏾Improve as you grow.
👉🏾Make adjustments along the way.

Just don't let the person you hope to become keep postponing the work you can do today.

Your future self can benefit from the step your present self is afraid to take.

As Nigeria marks another Independence Day today, I find myself thinking less about grand celebrations and more about the ordinary Nigerians who keep this country moving.

The teacher who keeps showing up.

The entrepreneur who keeps building.

The professional who keeps doing honest work.

The parent who keeps providing.

The young person who keeps learning despite the odds.

The creative who keeps creating.

The worker who gives their best even when the system makes it difficult.

The people who quietly choose integrity when nobody is watching.

I celebrate you.🎊🎉

Because a country is more than its leaders, its institutions or its problems.

It is also the people who wake up every day and keep trying.

So, on this October 1st, I may not have a long list of things to celebrate about Nigeria.

But I have people to appreciate.

And I still have hope for what this country can become.

To every well-meaning Nigerian doing their part, however small it may seem:

Thank you.

And to you reading this, may October meet you with something you didn't see coming.

Something good.

Something meaningful.

Something that reminds you:

You are not done becoming.

October, I don't need you to be perfect. I just need you to be different.

Different from the seasons that left me exhausted, and that made me question myself.

Different from the days when I wondered if anything was actually changing.

I expect this month to bring everything I've been waiting for.

Unexpected conversations, greater opportunities, answered prayers, brave decisions, and wins that'll remind me that my story is still unfolding.

So, welcome, October.

I'm expecting moments worth remembering.

Moments that turn into stories I'll be grateful I lived.

And to you reading this, may October meet you with something you didn't see coming.

Something good

Something meaningful

Something that will remind you that you are not done becoming.

Moments that make you pause and say, “I'm glad I didn't give up.”

Keep going.

Keep becoming.

Keep believing because there is still more ahead.
