Three days before our wedding, we lost the venue we’d spent a year planning.

The Cottonwood Fire destroyed my family’s cabin, the place we had always dreamed of getting married, but most importantly a place me and my family have been making memories for decades.

With just 72 hours to figure everything out, our family, friends, and vendors pulled off what felt impossible.

Beaver Canyon/Eagle Point weren’t just a wedding venue to me, this place shaped me into I am today. It was my escape from the world, my solace. My heart aches because a place I hold so close to my heart will never be the same. This is the story of how everything fell apart… and somehow became the best day of our lives. ❤️

Some favs from Blake and Trystan’s wedding in Utah.

3 days prior to the wedding, Blake’s family lost their vacation home in the Cottonwood fire.

They were forced to quickly move everything to Blake’s childhood home. Even through the loss, these two told me it was still the best day of their lives. And I’m so happy I could be a part of it.

2025 despite it being a difficult one, I was able to look through photos of the year & my heart became full of gratitude. I made another cover of a magazine I haven’t been in yet, shot so many incredible weddings & sessions, shot two bridal campaigns one in Paris, hosted my first event for photographers that I was petrified to fail but I got a 5 start review from every attendee, lots of traveling, went to New York bridal fashion week twice, one time Trystan got to come see the magic & we also got to pick what we are going to wear to the wedding. 2026 is our year @tnickovich 🤎 taken in Salt Lake City, Utah by @b_hogge_
