Understanding extremist ideology isn’t about giving attention to one individual.
It’s about recognising the pipeline that turns online grievance into real-world violence.

Right-wing radicalisation doesn’t start with weapons.
It starts with narratives — victimhood, replacement myths, racial fear — fed slowly through online spaces until violence feels justified.

If we only call these incidents “isolated”, we ignore the system that keeps producing them.

Understanding the ideology is how communities stay safe.

To every brown kid getting bullied: your skin is lineage. It is not the problem — racism is. I’m here, always. 🤎

Prosecutors say a 19-year-old who described himself as a white supremacist planned to kill Indian people at a Hindu temple near Chicago. He allegedly told a co-worker he’d tried to shoot someone, but his rifle jammed.

He’s been charged with making a terrorist threat and unlawful weapon possession.

I personally think this should be treated as an attempted terrorist attack if those allegations are proven. The gun jamming doesn’t make it just a threat.

Would the charges be different if the person accused was brown?

Funny how the proposed answer to expensive housing, insecure work and strained services keeps looking like somebody else’s neighbour.

Migration affects demand. Governments need to plan for it. That is a serious policy conversation. Turning an ethnicity into a problem is something else entirely.

These examples are not interchangeable. Police crime records, discrimination surveys and documented rights abuses measure different things. They do not prove that every country is moving in the same direction, at the same speed.

What I’m challenging is the political move: take a real frustration, attach it to a racialised community, and call that an explanation.

I want decent homes, fair wages and public services that work. I also want the people living beside me to be treated as people.

Which actual policy would make life better where you live?

Community Curry, 2026. Here’s what we’ve been up to.

Since starting in 2025, we’ve cooked and shared 650+ meals and raised approximately $4,000 with your support.

Two fundraisers at The Bird. Interviews and promotion through RTRFM and ABC Perth. Meals shared across Perth CBD and Northbridge, and food donated to support community gatherings.

To everyone who has cooked, volunteered, performed, donated or spread the word: thank you.

After a pause for health, work and life, we’re getting ready to return to regular meal rounds. Want to be part of the next chapter? Sign up through the link in our bio.

Community care is power.

You can criticise dangerous drivers without fantasising about killing Indian men, drowning children and enslaving women. This isn’t road safety. It’s extreme anti-Indian racism. 🇮🇳

Brownface is not comedy.

Racism against Indians is constantly treated like harmless banter. The jokes are always the same: dirty, smelly, unhygienic, creepy, predatory, backwards, gross.

But this stuff does not exist in a vacuum.

Indian people are being abused, harassed and attacked globally for being Indian. So when creators normalise these stereotypes to millions of people, it is not innocent.

It teaches people to laugh at us before they learn to hate us.

Brownface is racism. Indian hate is racism. Stop making us a costume.
