At the 81st United Nations General Assembly, we signed 19 international agreements to move our community, research and welfare programs forward. Organizations have committed to speakers, research collaborations and youth-led impact globally. Here's what they will feed into.

Every quote was said in a room we are in. The longer read will be coming to you soon from ImpactInk, our policy journal focused on AI and migration.

It took four years to earn our seat. The question now is what we do with it. That starts with making it easier for the next generation by involving them in policy early on, through our Youth Voices essay competition.

Bangladesh has a draft ready, Lesotho has already costed theirs. This is the gap our Policy Residents from @maxbellpublicpolicy flagged this July.

He was talking about Spain. Swap in Danforth, Jackson Heights or Brick Lane, and it multiplies.

Building a family home is special; foregone income from investing in a thriving business is not. His candidness felt like an Impact Social.

We have been doing exactly that for seven years through #bacharlorai and now our Humanitarian Aid program.

That was the idea behind Impact25, where we recognize young people for what they built, not where they were born.

She was talking to governments, we took it as a message for civil society at-large.

Our research practice is growing, and we couldn't be moving this fast without the support of long-term partners like @jwfglobal

It started as a conversation at a youth assembly activation booth, now we share board members and calendars.

UN reform is the reason we refused to enter the UN HQ on September 23. Organizations like @civicusalliance makes us feel like we can make that happen.

Media and film can be powerful vehicles of change when the right people are brought together.

Our community is stacked with artists, writers, poets, directors, musicians and new media communicators. Learning from the best at those things are helping prepare us for a new venture.

As we embark on new research with @harvard @stanford @uoft @mcgillu a practical conversation with career bureaucrats will serve our Experience+ program. W taken in United Nations General Assembly by @bacharlorai

Last year we discussed Indigenous reconciliation and recieved 95 submissions across 18 schools in Bangladesh.

This year we’re tackling AI in education. If you’re a Bangladeshi student aged 11-14, we invite you to join the 2026-27 Youth Voices Essay Competition.

As governments rapidly embrace AI, we must ask ourselves the question: how must AI be regulated to protect democratic rights?

Jehan Mohamed, Andre Policzer, and Kimberely Moriarity, three McGill MPP’s from the @maxbellpublicpolicy researched this topic in the Bangladeshi context advised by Sonja Solomun from @mediatechdemocracy

This year’s monsoon brought some of the worst flooding many communities in southeastern Bangladesh had ever experienced. When we spoke with residents in Banshkhali, many told us the floodwaters reached knee height—the first time they had witnessed anything like it.

In partnership with It’s Humanity Foundation (IHF) and Globe Foods & Pharma, we mobilized alongside local volunteers to deliver emergency food, medicine, and essential relief supplies to affected communities across Chittagong, Banshkhali, and Bandarban.

Disasters may test the resilience of communities, but they also reveal the power of partnership. Thank you to every donor, volunteer, and partner who stood with us to bring relief where it was needed most.
